99% of Our
Cotton Is Organic.
We Can Do Better.

The Traceable
Cotton Difference

Here’s an uncomfortable fact: The ‘organic’ cotton that’s sold each year far exceeds the amount that’s actually grown. We’re working to change that.

Introducing traceable cotton, a fiber that meets our highest standards for supply chain transparency. By investing in farmers who are making the transition to organic and working with industry leaders to track our cotton from field to factory, we’re making sure that what you see on the label is what you get.

Tracing Our Cotton from Farm to Closet

In order to ensure that our cotton is produced sustainably, we need to know where it’s grown and how the land is managed. We currently rely on organic certifications, but we know we need to go further.

We’re working with our partners to build a transparent supply chain, one completely traceable, from the farm to you. So you can feel good knowing exactly where your cotton comes from.

Growing Supply for
a
Growing Demand

In the face of climate change, organic production is more important than ever. But with more brands choosing organic cotton, demand is outpacing the supply—there’s simply not enough to go around.

That’s why we’re committed to sourcing cotton directly from growers who are converting their fields to certified organic. This transitional period is tough—farmers spend three years managing the land under strict regulations before their crops can be sold as organic at higher prices. In short, farmers initially lose money. By supporting growers as they switch to organic practices, we can help improve livelihoods and increase the supply of organic cotton—a win for all.

Paying a Premium for Organic Cotton

We pay more for organic materials—and you do, too. But all too often, organic farmers never see that premium due to complex supply networks and other hidden costs.

While we’re working to build more traceable supply chains, some of our cotton may switch to conventional. However, all of the cotton on our line, whether conventionally or organically grown, will continue to support organic farming communities. In many cases, we know we can make the greatest positive impact by paying premiums directly to farmers and supporting initiatives like the Organic Cotton Accelerator, a group that’s working to overcome the barriers to organic cotton production.
