Since 2018, our Washable Stretch Crepe (known to us as TK) has been cut and sewn by Studio9D8, a garment factory in South El Monte, California. Now, we’ve partnered with them to give new life to the pre-loved TK pants collected through our take-back program.

Step 1: Sort

Our Renew team sorts through each piece collected through our take-back program. TK pants in excellent condition are set aside for resale—the rest are ready to be transformed into something new.

Step 2: Categorize

After receiving the shipment of damaged TK pants, our partners at Studio9D8 in California sort each garment by size and style in order to assess how much material they have to work with.

Each garment is cut into individual panels, which then become the raw material for new designs.
