- Ask yourself if there’s something missing from your wardrobe. Do you need something new for a specific purpose?
- Look for the shapes and fabrics you rely on.
- Consider how a new color, fabric or shape would update what’s already in your closet.
- Know that we repeat shapes in new colors and materials—you might find the perfect piece coming a month or two from now.
- Can you see yourself wearing what you’ve found a year from now? A decade?
- Once you know what you need, you can favorite or pre-order it to have as soon as becomes available.

The Shapes
Keep it low-key in the ponte box-top and jogger pant—wear it as a set, or layer on a high collar coat for polish. The velvet vest and maxi dress turn up the drama and create party-ready looks with minimal effort.
The Fabrics
Plush textures in velvet (VL2, OVI) and organic cotton velveteen (JNZ) define the season and add a festive touch. Lightweight Ponte (ULO) is our go-to for comfort dressing, and drapey Silk Georgette Crepe (GC1) creates elevated looks that go with everything.
The Colors
Look to Almond, our new neutral, to offset this month’s eye-catching jewel tones. Violette, Berry Bloom and Pine round out our fall color story and arrive just in time for the celebratory mood of the season.
