Favorite Pants
I love these pants and managed to pick them up during the big EF sale. I'm more of a dress girlie and I hate jeans, and also really prefer to wear natural fibers. This was actually my third attempt at buying these pants. I had been eyeing them for a while because I really like the look of this lantern cut I wanted something comfortable and loose but still had structure and didn't look like sweatpants. I first bought these in the stretch ponte, they were too big and I absolutely hated the feel of the fabric (reviews seem to say most people love that fabric btw! Everyone's different). Then I bought these in the dove color, also too large and the color didn't really suit me. I'm glad I tried one more time and sized down in black, because I love these pants. These really hit that mark. They are so soft and cozy, but still structured enough where they don't get misshapen. And WARM. So good for the winter but I can see them being too warm for later in the year. I love the curved cut and pleats in the front, I can see this being great if you're particularly hippie, though I am not. I'm pretty straight up and down, but the cut kind of gives me the illusion of hips which make them so much more flattering than other pants I've owned. It seems I'm a little younger than the average EF customers if the reviews are a good representation of the customer base, so I think it's really cool that thee can be styled for many different periods in a person's life. I can see myself wearing these for years and years. They definitely run large though. My first attempts to buy these were in a 3x and returned, and I was really disappointed that the 2x was out of stock. I bought the 1x on a whim not really expecting them to work, but they fit great, even a little large if I've worn them a number of times since washing. I'm not usually a 1x at other retailers so I'd size down if you're not familiar with EF sizing.
On the subject of washing, these are marked dry clean only but I hand wash them, since I'm never at a dry cleaners. Most wool you can wash at home, I just use a delicate detergent that is made for wool. I have a couple of wool sweaters that I've knit, and I wash them by hand periodically, so adding these pants to my handwashing wasn't a huge deal. I get that the washing instructions may be a deterrent, but wool is very antimicrobial and doesn't need to be cleaned as often as other fibers, so I don't find the fact that I'm not throwing these into the washing machine prevents me from wearing them all the time. Definitely recommend!

Cool pants, TTS for EF
If you like the lantern style, these are great pants. The felted wool is so nice. I have a pair of cargo pants in this fabric and I love them.
I used to wear an XS in EF pants, now I am usually an XXS. Someone said these ran small, so I ordered the XS in both colours, since the XXS was sold out. Alas, they are too big for me, I'll stalk the site to see if an XXS small becomes available. For sizing info: I am 115lbs, 5'7." Weirdly, even though the web site says these have a 28" inseam, these aren't too short on me. Other EF pants I've tried that are 28" are often too short.

Keep the Dove color
I love this pant and hope to buy it other colors. I could only buy it in black because of the sizes left when it went on sale. I love this dove color and hope it is continued. If so I’ll definitely buy it!

My Favorite winter pants!
I loved are wore my previous pair so much that I needed a replacement as I had worn them until they were threadbare in the crotch due to friction. These pants are so comfortable I can stay in them until it’s time for bed as I already feel like I’m in lounge wear and they are oh so soft!

Sizing is off and inconsistent.
Lovely typical Eileen fabric, but sizing is off. I have this pant in black from a few years ago and I wear them every week in the winter. These run smaller than the same size from a few years ago. Disappointed and the size issue makes online shopping really challenging. I have EF pants in XS, S, and M and they all fit. That doesn't sound right.

Elastic issue
Great silhouette but very oversized at waist for Medium. Elastic is very weak and stretchy, growing and not bouncing back to initial size, so with each use it gets bigger and bigger while it was large to begin with. Elastic is also set up stationary to waist band itself so there is no option to adjust/cinch tighter.

The MOST PERFECT pants EVER
Love these pants. The lantern cut is amazing for my pear shape. The fabric is incredible — soft and flexible, and doesn’t “seat out” (saggy butt). I feel so put together and comfortable at the same time in these pants. They look slouchy but are actually softly tailored and can go to boardroom to brunch to dinner. I’m 5’2”, 135 lbs and the PM is perfect for me.

The pants I've been waiting for!
Great felted wool pants in the ultra flattering lantern cut. Great for cold weather. I am 5'6", 145 pounds, with a curvy shape (in other words, I have hips), and the medium fits perfectly. They do have to be dry cleaned but so far have kept their shape through multiple wearings without a trip to the dry cleaners.

Fabulous fit+comfort - higher maintenance fabric.
Bought these on a cold day, the wool felt promising - and it is. These pants are warm, so comfortable and flattering. I was going for S but thanks to the sales associate I bought the XXS - (5’3 - 130). The fabric does attract dog hair. As a solution I think I’ll get them in dove, as well. ;) Also, dry clean only alert.

Amazing fabric
The fabric of these pants is amazing. I wish the fit were a bit slimmer, more tailored, and longer. I tried sizing down, but they were too short for me. The smaller size definitely looked better in the hips, but I need the length. They are very cozy. Wish they came in more colors.

Worth it.
Warm, comfortable, good looking and versatile pants. Purchased in black. Becoming, and an excellent fit in PM (I sometimes need PL). Don’t usually like elasticized waists, but works well on these trousers. Pricey but worth it.
