Wrong fabric for this style
This dress needs a drapey fabric. The habotai is too crisp. I wanted to love this dress but the shape and color and fabric bear an unfortunate resemblance to a hospital gown. I really love the pulls that help creat shaping — perhaps a similar pull in the back or fixed gathers/ fixed elastic would help with more waistline shape control, and make it in a double georgette rather than habotai. Tried it in a couple of sizes and it just wasn’t flattering.

Big Mistake
I made a huge mistake buying this dress. I payed full price, and unfortunately was not able to return it, as I left country the next day after buying it. The fabric is horrible: it wrinkles easily, clang to my legs non stop, even after i used the static spray. It shows every single spot, even from water or perfume. I wore my just few times, and every single time I had to wash it. Ironing it is just another ordeal. Buy at your own risk.

Perfect for a summer wedding & more
The fabulous sales associate at my local EF helped me find this dress (for a wedding with a not-easy dress code). Then helped me find a completer piece (black linen/cotton cardigan) in the right size (I am now quite short waisted) so that the final result was crisp not sloppy. I couldn't have done this without her help and eye. It truly makes a big difference. The color is stunning.

A dress up dress down wardrobe staple
I was worried that this might look too boxy and dwarf me, but I adjusted the strings and the dress looks beautiful on me. The washed silk has a nice sheen and moves fluidly; it feels wonderful. I am about a 12 and chose a medium and it is perfect.

My whole wardrobe is EF. The dresses as of late have no style whatsoever! They simply cover a body- nothing else! Too bad EF was so stylish and fun to own.
