It’s really the color which made me love this on first sight. Blend in linen fabric so interesting. Runs somewhat big, so size down.

Boxy fit
Too boxy for me. The fit around the shoulders and mid body are big and taper down to a better fit at the sweep. I’m a pear shape and need the opposite fit

Works for Petites
I purchased the ultramarine linen délavé shirt in size XXS. I was afraid it would be too large since I normally wear size PP in EF garments (I am 5 ft, 95 lbs) and I’ve found that EF shirts are generally too relaxed and oversized for my taste. I was pleasantly surprised to find the Short Length XXS size fit better than the size PP handkerchief linen shirt I purchased last summer. The ultramarine color is a lovely blue that goes with several bottoms I already own. The shirt also washes and irons beautifully. If EF is no longer offering petite sizes in short sleeve shirts, I hope they add more Short Length shirts in both linen and cotton fabrics in the future for us petite ladies.

I purchased this in the green, a color that's deep & rich. The fabric will last through most seasons, as does the design. I purchased this style in a lighter cotton during an earlier shopping trip & love it, as well.
