I am 5ft. 115 and the ps was perfect. Drape was flattering. This is a classic that will get plenty of wear. Very versatile and easy to style in a variety of ways.

Love the style details
This is a great shirt. After reading other reviews I was prepared for the lighter weight poplin (which I really prefer as I run hot) and the slightly off-white tint (also fine - it reads as white.) I got Medium to be sure the sleeves are long enough, which they easily are. I will layer this and want the cuffs to show. I have ordered similar EF shirt styles in linen in size Small because the shoulders fit better in Small, and I’m less likely to layer those. The shoulders in Medium are slightly bigger than I need - and I’m broad-shouldered! - but not a dealbreaker. I’m really happy with this shirt.

Beautiful color and fabric!’
Beautiful color and fabric. I bought this blouse on green and really like the feel of the fabric with sufficient stretch in it to move easily. I already wore it a few times and have gotten many compliments. Love my Eileen Fisher many pieces!

Pretty but wrinkles
This is a great looking shirt, and I always feel good putting it on. But it is high maintenance for a cotton garment. After I have worn it a little while, the shirt is no longer crisp.

Cotton poplin shirt
I received this shirt yesterday in pp color sea star. I am 5’1” and 124 lbs.
This will be going back. The fabric is too light weight to have any integrity, it’s a wrinkled mess. The size of the shirt is ridiculously huge and I don’t even like the shape of the collar and cuffs.
I do have poplin pants in the lantern and wide leg styles and that poplin is much more substantial. The shirts should be made from that fabric too. I love the pants and hope to see more colors, particularly in the lantern style next summer. The Calypso is gorgeous! AND I hope to see short sleeve poplin shirts and a poplin jacket in petite sizes. MORE PETITES!

Not for this petite
Not a keeper. The material is thin, not crisp. I am 5’2” and the shirt is not flattering and almost came to my knee. I feel as though the petite fit model must’ve changed a couple of years ago. This seems styled for an apple shaped body on a tall petite.

Love the red color and cut but fabric needs care
The red color is great and the fit is flattering. My one hesitation is the fabric which wrinkles readily and easily. I have to use a hand steamer with every wear, which is a nuisance if not a deal breaker. And then it looks just respectable enough, but only time consuming ironing will restore the crisp look. I wish Eileen Fisher could develop cotton and linen which are more crease resistant. (There are a couple other brands which have already.) One nice feature is that the back is cut full enough that it does not ride up your after sitting. I am 5'2, 104 pounds, eighty years old and my usual PP was a good fit.

Disappointed in fabric

No relation to petite sizing
The sleeved are too long and the shoulders are too
wide for petite sizing. We have special needs EF! For such broad shoulders it was slim in the hips. Otherwise a poplin that was destined to become softer with wear.

Wonderful shirt!
I bought this poplin shirt in Sea Star and the shorter version in both white and Atlantis. It drapes beautifully, packs well, and always looks fresh. I wear it over the square seed stitch top of the same colour as well as tees an shirts of other greens, blues, blacks and greys. I don't wear shirts that much, but this has become my go-to instead of a light jacket!

My perfect shirt
How many times do you read in the fashion press about finding the perfect white shirt? Well, for me, this is it. I have several of these shirts in white, one in black, one white one in the short cut, and one black one in the short cut. It is such a good cut - comfortable, generous around the armholes and across the shoulders and back, the collar is small and neat but sits well and pops up if you wish. Nice little cuffs that are unfussy and roll back neatly, and the shirt is a great length. Plenty to tuck in and not ride up but if you want to leave it untucked the splits at the sides and the slightly longer back length look good. (There is also an almost identical shirt with an even longer back, but I prefer this one.)

A Joy To Wear
This is a really nice top. I wore this casually yesterday with tan pants and black walking shoes. The temperature was fluctuating all day between warm and cold. I was comfortable all day in this top and it looks really good on me. The fabric is light weight but substantial enough that I should be able to wear all summer without worrying about the sun penetrating the fabric when I walk outside (a major concern of mine). Comfort and looking good. What more can a girl ask for!

Ordered both black and white. Wardrobe staples.
Love these! Nice long but not too long length, no dropped seam at the shoulder, lightweight easy to wear over a tee or under a jacket. The white is a bit sheer but doesn’t bother me.
