No thank you to the huge clown pocket
This is a beautiful blouse and the XXS fit my size 6 petite frame perfectly. It’s well made and the cotton fabric is high quality but the huge clown pockets took away from the elegance. I would rather not have any front pocket in my blouse and prefer them in pants and jackets.

Sleeves are short
The only issue with this shirt is the sleeves seem unusually short. I notice one other reviewer mentioned this. I also have one of the 'washed organic cotton poplin classic collar' shirts in short length and it doesn't have the same issue, so not sure why this longer length style is like this. I'd recommend checking out the short length shirts before committing to this one

Poor quality fabric
Even on sale, this shirt is not worth the price. The white version is thin, wrinkled, and looks like an imitation EF blouse. Returned!

Classic Collar Long Shirt Wren
I love this long shirt in Wren, a warm brown color. I wore it with a linen tank and a silk skirt the other day and loved it. The shirt's long sleeves and length make it easy to wear, as well as the curved hem - easy to create a "French" tuck - that is, half-tucked in the front while hanging loose in the back.

PERFECT SHIRT
Lightweight cotton and perfect weight and length. I would like to have the arm length longer. I am 5-10 so you know I have to roll up the sleeves

Thin fabric
This is a nice shirt. The weight of the poplin material is very thin. I have other poplin shirts from a couple of years ago that are heavier weight and better quality. Another point where EF has cheapened quality.

Material is lovely very soft. My rating was based on a fitting problem not a quality problem. The boxy style seems to be best suited for certain body types. The arms do not fit in a comfortable manner when moving in natural motions. I think a more classic or relaxed or overfit style would work the best for me.

Best shirt ever
I love this shirt! This is my second shirt like this. I have it in Wisteria and like it so much I had to get a second one. I ordered the wren color that works beautifully with jeans or black pants. The fabric is a wonderful light hi quality cotton that has a crisp appearance. It launders well and irons up like a dream. The pocket feature and the shirt tails gives it a boyfriend shirt vibe. I have several of the basic long cotton collared shirts in white and in black but this new style, the fabric and the neutral colors make it my go to wardrobe uniform. I’d love it in olive and or a blue grey! Pretty please!!

Beautiful but Huge
Usually a Large in EF is perfect on me. This shirt is a lovely fabric and color but fits more like an XXL or Plus size. I love big shirts, but even for me, it's too big. Sadly, am eturning.

Returning post-wash
I make a point of never doing this, but I'm returning this shirt after washing due to the fabric FAIL. If you want your shirt to look like these photos, you'll need to iron it. Otherwise, the fabric is a wrinkled mess. "Washed poplin" should actually be washable!

Calypso poplin long sleeve shirt
I give this shirt 5 stars for the color, but further than that, I am perplexed.
I am 5’1” and 125 lbs and purchased the pp. It os absolutely huge! I have inches of extra material in every direction. Even the cuffs fit large, and I have very average wrists.
I purchased the wide leg pants skirt and I can only imagine tieing this shirt at the waist. I like a big shirt as much as the next gal, but I think this pp would fit a medium. I think I will measure and add as a reply.

Beautiful white long
Perfect shirt
The fabric isn't overly light at all
Just perfect , drapes nicely and L is perfect size
I'm 5 "11 f tall
With normal length of arms it fits perfectly
Not too wide not too long but I can wear it without rolling the sleeves
Or I can do it bought way
The length is perfect!!!!@

From the way the model is posed this long sleeve shirt looks like a jacket, I was hoping for a linen jacket. The color was great so I bought the shirt. But I'd still buy a jacket in this heliotrope color if it was part of Eileen Fishers' collection. But evidently it's not.

Nice Shirt, But,..
This is a lovely shirt, but being a long time customer of Eileen Fisher I am well aware of how this shirt is supposed to fit. The sleeves on this shirt are quite a bit narrower than previous shirts I have purchased. This may not be a problem for most people, but it is for me. I kept the shirt, but I do not love it, and probably will not wear it as much as my other shirts. Consistency would be nice when you are dealing with sizes. The sleeves are not a good place to skimp. Just my opinion, of course.

I wanted to love this shirt but the sleeves are a deal breaker. They are just too short. The shirt is oversized everywhere except the sleeves. Very strange. Also the fabric is very thin. For the price I would have expected a heavier weight fabric.

Classic yet unique shirt!
Love this shirt! it's a classic button down but the 'washed' softness of the poplin, the oversize pocket and the slightly shorter sleeve give it a modern, quirky vibe! The calypso blue color is beautiful. I always wear Medium in Eileen Fisher but I bought this top in Large because I wanted the 'oversized' fit, and it's the perfect amount of oversized for me.

Love the shirt, but heliotrope doesn't match
I love this style. I have it in calypso and get lots of wear out of it, both with other calypso pieces and other colors. I'm so glad to see the bright colors - sea star, heliotrope, calypso. However, I gave this one a "No" because the heliotrope is too different from the color of the linen and cotton gauze pieces I'd want to wear it with. As for the style, it's just oversized enough to be wearable for me. Incidentally, the sleeve length is perfect for me at a smidge over 5'3".

Perfect summer shirt!
I am so happy to see this style in a non-linen shirt. Colors bright for me, but I purchased 2 and have been wearing them nonstop. Sleeves still a bit short (as mentioned by other reviewers for other poplin styles), but I roll them up. Would love longer sleeves and some more standard colors. Love the shirt style and putting in a word for more wool shirts next winter season- with colors!

Nice basic button down shirt
The shirt is nice quality, but the fit is very basic. Based on the models (and all the poplin "boyfriend shirts" I've been seeing everywhere, I thought this would be longer and more oversized, but it just fits like a standard button down on me.

Color not as pictured . . . boo.
I was looking forward to wearing this true purple shirt, but unfortunately, its actual color is much redder than shown, making it a magenta. In fact, it resembles the current EF color 'rhapsody'. I went with size Medium as I generally do with these oversized shirts, and it fit perfectly. Everything else—design, fabric, wardrobing—was fine, but for me, the color miss made it a big NO.
