Have to alter these "petite" pants!
These pants are not petite!!! I will have to cut around 3" off these "petite" pants. I don't know if they were mislabeled or what. Perhaps they are for petite amazons! I have ordered other petite pants from EFand they were great. Was not expecting this. Will have to spend another $20 to alter them enough to be able to wear them.

Not the "washable stretch crepe fabric" of past
This is not the "washable stretch crepe" that Eileen Fisher has offered in the past. It's more like pointe. The fabric has a textured hand, not the smooth and silky hand of past EF washable stretch crepe. This is also a departure in size. Size L is cut small--a real change for EF. The on seam pockets are also cut small -- too small for a small iPhone -- in another departure, and stretch out and show when in use. This feels like a disappointing cutting of corners and quality. The fabric should be billed as something different. Customers expecting the past excellent washable stretch crepe used in previous EF clothing may well be surprised and disappointed.

Hooray, a full length washable stretch crepe pant
I am happy to have a full length washable stretch crepe pant, finally, and with pockets ! I purchased the "ink" color. These pants have a lot more width in the hip area than my other '696' pants. Mine in S measured 23.5 in thru hip area. But I am keeping them because I applaud the length and the pockets . Thank you EF to adding full length as a choice.

beyond perfect straight full pant
Finally, I have been waiting for these full length crepe pants to come back for years. They are the best in fit and care and elegance--they can and do go everywhere. Silly to say about a pair of pants, but I am joyful.
