Wardrobe staple!
I have several of these exquisite silk turtlenecks and have been wearing them for years as my base layer for winter and often in the shoulder seasons. It’s perfect in every way — lovely fabric, very comfortable design, quality construction, hand washes beautifully, disappears under whatever I wear as my next layer, essential for travel, adds just enough warmth but breathes. I’m going to buy 2 more today. 5’4” 112# XS.

New Version of an Old Favorite
For years, I wore and loved EF’s stretch silk jersey scrunch-neck t-neck tops; I had several in rotation. As I grew older, they began feeling a little too snug in the neck for me, so, reluctantly, I recycled them through EF Renew. I’m thrilled to find that this new version is a tad looser. Not sloppy, just comfy at the neck and all over. I hope EF will consider making this in graphite and ivory, both of which already appear in stretch silk jersey tanks. I would buy them in a heartbeat! Thank you!

This is an elegant silhouette with a beautiful silky feel. It fits true to size. I did hem the sleeves slightly. Highly recommended to dress up jeans or dressy with a skirt. Love it!

Marvelous (new to me) silk fabric!
I've loved my Eileen Fisher clothing for years. This is my first Stretch Silk Jersey, and it is truly a miracle fabric. So comfortable to wear, breathes, temperature regulating, and washes like a dream. Highly recommend.

Silk jersey turtleneck top
This silk jersey turtleneck was the missing piece in my wardrobe. It is perfect for layering under cardigans, vests and jackets. The silk jersey fabric doesn't add extra bulk when used as a layering piece. It fits true to size in my regular size large. I considered sizing up one size due to the slim fit, but the large fit perfectly. It doesn't cling and this piece will pack nicely for travel and won't wrinkle. Love it!

arms too long for a petite
I was really hoping this would fit, because it would be a great layering piece. I'm 5'2" and was hoping the small would be ok. Unfortunately, just not sized for a petite person in the arms and shoulders. Returned, would love to see in a petite size!

At least it’s really silk
I have many of these turtlenecks from earlier seasons. This one is almost up to grade but you can see from the heavy stitching that it’s not been treated like the delicate fiber it is. At least it’s 100% silk, which you can no longer be sure of from EF. Even when things are labeled as ‘silk’ often lately they have a synthetic ‘stretch’ (which is not actually necessary for a knit that is high quality) or they are totally synthetic but labeled as ’silky’. Sadly, it feels like EF has succumbed to the old bait-and-switch scam. And folks, beware because that fancy ‘tencil’ garment is just cheap rayon by another name. I’m so lucky that I have a huge closet full of almost nothing but EF that I have collected over many years and will be able to wear for many more. The last couple of seasons the quality has fallen so low, I will not be buying any more.

One of my favorite pieces
Have always loved EF stretch silk turtlenecks. The silk is breathable, so they are not hot to wear. They are washable and hold their shape even wash after wash. The fact that they don’t add bulk make them a great layering base.

Fits My Petite Size
I ordered the XS and the S; settled on the S. I'm petite and it fits much better than the virtual sizing feature. Neither the length nor the sleeves are too long. I wanted something to go under my boiled wool EF sweaters, and the boiled wool EF tunic. The weight is substantial without being bulky. Other clothing brands had silk t-necks, but almost all reviews complained of runs and poor seaming details. I chose to pay more for lasting quality.

Best and most most important piece
What’s the one piece you need in your wardrobe? It’s this perfect black silk turtleneck that goes under everything and will be the piece you travel with, the piece you wear under your favorite sweater and the piece that goes with just everything. It works!
This silk jersey turtle neck top works for me because it is not too hot for the weather in Arizona. Also it is a thin and smooth textured layer under a wool sweater, flannel shirt or textured vest. The turtle neck does not irritate the skin on my neck and most other fabrics do.

Great silk turtleneck
Beautifully made, very nice silk weight. Not available in PP so ordered XXS. Was looser than I wanted for my size (I am 5’, 100lb). Could have made it work but would need sleeve length shortened & perhaps length.
