Beautiful blue dress ... Quality !
This dress is beautiful and I found it to be true to the color in the online picture. I ordered two of these as I was not sure which size I would need. The 2X was too big (yay for weight loss!) and the 1X is not exactly right ... but I am looking to see if I can find a light jacket to wear over it ... if I do, I will keep it. It is a quality material and product. I love my Eileen Fisher clothing. Many of the items I wash in the washing machine on cold and hang to dry. They don't seem to fade and last for a long time.
We live north of Austin, TX and I am grateful for the ability to shop online and especially glad I can return something easily if it does not fit. Thank you EF for bringing Apple / Nordstrom quality to online shopping.

Blue silk dress
I just got this dress and I am returning it. First it was too big. I wish EF could give garment measurements thé way Lands End does. Even the sales people couldnt tell me what the dress measured àcross thé chest.
Secondly thé fabric doesn’t have the luster of crepe de chine. I also thought the color was drab. I prefer wearing jewel colors.
I’m going to try going to Bloomingdale’s and seeing if there is another dress I like instead.
EF should stop making so many black dresses and boring colors. I thought I would like the crushed silk dresses but when I saw the skirts at Nordstroms they didn’t seem soft.
Hopefully I can find a crepe de chine dress in a vibrant color. I love that thé dresses havé pockets and the silk is washable.

Royal Blue or Royal Purple?
Bought this in the sale a week ago and was shocked at the colour. It was Purple not Royal Blue. The photo was indeed royal blue. ROYAL was a misnomer. As a very long time buyer from EF I was very disappointed. One's eyes can deceive from a photo, therefore accuracy in description is an essential.
