I feel amazing in this
If it had been offered in petite, I would have taken it, but I don't find this too big/long on me. I took size S, I'm 5'3" and this hits at the bottom of my calf. Blackberry is divine.

Topper and dress
I chose this to match the blackberry t-shirt snd pants. I’ll wear the silk dress over the t-shirt to make it more dressy. I’d definitely wear this as a shirt dress too. Thank you, Eileen Fisher, for another comfortable, classy outfit!

Perfect dress
I love this dress. I wore it to a wedding recently and felt comfortable and well dressed. It is a perfect color for summer. The fabric is soft and flowing. It was a very hot day so I was cool in it but still looked appropriate. I felt so good in it I decided to buy it in another color!

It’s the color not the dress
I do love this dress for the Bluette color — the simple A-line shirt dress style is nothing special in particular, but that’s what makes the color statement so good. I am disappointed it wasn’t properly proportioned for petites. I’m 5’1”, 130 lbs, and wear the XS. It’s about 4” too long and needs to hemmed. The neckline is a 2” too low, the sleeve are 2” too long. That said, in spite of its shortfalls for petites, I did buy on sale and will have it tailored because the color is particularly good on me (life lesson: if there’s a color that makes you glow, it’s ok to have many pieces in the same hue. Black is not my color, but this is shazaam!). I love the look of it paired with the georgette pants on the models, but on a short frame, because it’s already oversized without tailoring, the combo looks like pajamas. I’m looking forward to wearing it with tall boots and a wrap belt, and will try it layered with cropped sweater for fall. It works great as a duster with EF dark rinse wide leg jeans & tee.
