I love this fabric
This silk fabric is my go to. It is dressy and crisp. So much nicer than knit. I have several and buy them every time I see them. Please keep making these tops with this fabric.

winter, spring, summer..
The neckline on this Silk Georgette tank makes it perfect as an additional layer beneath a V-neck sweater or cardigan. Pairing it with an EF cropped cardigan (or a jacket) will be useful and beautiful during transitional weather. The texture and drape of the matte silk makes it dressy enough to go anywhere during warmer months.

Perfect!
Have this in black and ivory. I wear them all the time under cotton or wool sweaters, although they certainly can be worn alone or under a cardigan. I'm 5'1" and the length is perfect on me, and does not show under sweaters, but also looks good worn alone (I like my tops short). Am usually a medium or large, and bought these in large for a comfortable but not boxy fit. As with all silk georgette from Eileen Fisher, they wash beautifully in the machine.

Just barely works for a petite
I am only 5' tall and wear petite sizes. This shell is not available in petite, so I tried 2 sizes to get the color and style. The result is slightly too long and slightly long waisted, but I have decided to keep it because it will always be worn under a jacket. I have been wearing your clothing since at least 1990, but am disappointed lately in your very limited - sometimes strange - offerings of petite items. Frequently I see an email advertising a beautiful color or style, go to the site and find that it is not available in petite. I also find that items offered in petite are the wrong ones because they can't be altered easily - ie. traditional shirt styles with long sleeves and cuffs. While those may be pretty, it would cost @ $50 to shorten the sleeves - always required for me. Please don't assume that as long as an item is a short length, it will work for petites. Any item with any (minimal) waistline at all is out of the question in standard sizing for petite people, because a waist that is too long affects the bust, the armholes, and the position of the narrowest part of the item - which drops down to a wider place below the waist - sometimes even the hips. Also, for color I am a "spring", which means that I can't wear black, other very dark colors, and bright white near my face - but for some reason petites seem to be relegated to those colors recently. I do buy the bright ones when I can (bought two bright red sweaters this month).

Beautiful Fabric
The fabric is beautiful and drapes nicely. I have another piece in this silk crepe and I was nervous about washing it. No problem…I put it in the washing machine on “handwash” then hung it to dry. I did touch it up with my hand steamer but it I wasn’t really necessary. Do not hesitate to buy this.
