Dressy and casual all at once...
I love pieces like this. Its great for Spring over a knit dress, or even cooler weather over a long sleeve tee or thin sweater. Its dressy and casual depending on how you wear it. I like that it's slightly boxy, that means its wearable (for me anyway). Fabric is versitile and flattering. I bought it in the lighter color and plan to get a lot of use out of it!

Not ok for over $200.
I bought the lighter colored one and love it.. I think it was about 139.00 including tax. I then have found the black/white one for about the same price. The jacket itself, casual, not structured, but that is what I wanted. I purchased the black/white one to pair with dress slacks, to dress down while traveling in Europe this spring. It’s not lined, so it’s not heavy, yet a jacket of this sort adds a bit of “pizzaz” to dress jeans, or dresses down dressy slacks. Should be perfect. I also have a black “slip” dress that I span on using this as a jacket when out and about. Get it on sale, don’t pay over $200.. low hunded, that’s ok, but not more.

Poor quality
Loved the look of this blazer but not the fabric. From day one there were strings hanging from the wrist, bottom and a very rough fabric. Didn't know it was dry clean only or I wouldn't purchased it..turned it in for my $5..

Comfy but Kind of Baggy
I returned this blazer because it looked sloppy on me. I loved the soft tweedy fabric ... it was comfortable (kind of like a sweater-jacket.) If the cut had been a little more structured, I would have kept it.

Love this casual year round jacket!
I bought the Dove color because I have so much black. It's a very nice neutral. It's a weight that can be used almost year round . The jacket is oversized. Because there was no petite, I sized down from my usual EF. Love the big pockets.

Great Buys at Eileen Fisher
I went to Eileen Fisher in Irvington, NY, to find after Christmas sale items and, boy, did that work out well! I found a gorgeous hot pink turtleneck. Then, to complete the outfit, I found a gorgeous, heavily-discounted black and white jacket seen above. Eileen Fisher sales are always great with many items to choose from in all sizes. They also have a fabulous slightly worn section. It’s a great way to wear beautifully designed clothes that might be out of reach price-wise at full price.
