Just what I wanted
These shoes were clearly made with the understanding that the leather would stretch a lot. I've owned three pair of the EF soft black leather espadrilles, and each has grown between a half and full size, once I started wearing them. Each year I get a new pair, because the old ones are too big. These flats remind me of the Capezios I wore as a child and in my teens: butter soft and beautifully made. They're snug but not uncomfortable. They are so soft and second-skin-like that there's really nothing to bind or cut into you. I would have tried the 7 1/2 after reading all the comments, but there weren't any 7 1/2s left, so I got my regular 7s, and I'm glad I did. If I wanted to wear socks or tights with them, I wouldn't be able to, at this point, i.e., until they stretch, but, as a pair of flats with no socks, they're better than fine. They're perfect.

Too small
Much too short. Love the shoe but too small. I have had several other EF shoes and wear them often. Always 71/2. Had to return them.

Runs small
Well made and attractive but runs quite small. I’m a usual size 8 but give how small the shoe was would consider going up a full size

Beautiful shoe. Too short
These are beautiful shoes in every way. Sadly, I had to return them because they run far too small. I ordered a half size larger, but they were still too short. Perhaps if someone has an unusually narrow foot they would fit better
