Beautiful Jacket
I purchased this beautiful jacket in the colors Apline and Wine. The jacket is a little lighter in weight than the similar jacket from previous years. It fits a little closer to the body and is a slightly straighter cut, which makes is very flattering. There is enough room to layer a blouse or light weight sweater. I love that the jacket can be worn indoors and also outdoors when you need a lighter weight coat. This adds to it's versatility. The Alpine and Wine colors are beautiful jewel tones. I also puchased the wine satin textured skirt and turtleneck sweater to wear with the wine jacket. Both colors work with black also. I will wear these jackets frequently during the fall and winter.

Perfect lightweight coat!
This is the perfect lightweight coat! The wool fabric is so soft, and the styling is beautiful. Wish it came in black, but Alpine is very pretty.

Love this jacket
I bought this in the Woodland color this week in store. I debated between that and Wine (which is also gorgeous), but settled on this one as I felt it would be a better color for spring as well. It is stunning! The color is more nuanced up close. I'm very sensitive to wool, and this has a tiny bit of itch where it touches skin around the collar, but not much at all - those who aren't especially sensitive probably wouldn't notice it. It looks great with slim pants and can be worn indoors as well. I'm 5'7" and it is a perfect length for me, but I could see it being too long for petites. Even at my height, I have to cuff the sleeves once. I'm between a S and M at EF, and the S fits with ease.

Love this style and fabric
I was happy to find this lightweight wool jacket today during the Eileen Fisher fall promotion. I bought it in woodland, a color somewhere in between forest and olive green. The wool is beautiful with a soft texture that I love. It's a flattering shape and versatile style. I bought coordinating Woodland pants (in Ponte, wide leg) to make it a suit when I want to wear it that way. I'm usually M or L and in this case the M fit very well.

New favorite jacket!
Good length overall (I’m 5’3), the sleeves I do have to fold once, w/c I don't mind. I like how easy it is to wear and match w/ skirts, dresses, pants. I love the high collar, you can close it w/ a brooch to dress it up. Just love love love this style. I’m Considering getting 2 other colors. Big EF fan!

Purchased this jacket to top the Felted Wool Jersey Lantern Pant in Wool, coupled with the matching Sheer Cotton Blend Knit Turtleneck Top, with all pieces in Woodland - am a matchy, matchy kinda gal. Off the chart stunning. Love the jacket weight, the one pleated paint and the buttery soft turtle and the way it all seamlessly melds. Thrilled as always with my Eileen picks!

Really Need Petites!
I was so excited to see this jacket that I preordered it. I am sorry to say that, for me, it is a big disappointment. I am 5’4”, 124 lbs. I ordered size small. It is enormous and way too long except for a much taller person. I think it is supposed to be mid thigh; it hits just above my knee. This is all the more confusing because it is described as easy fit, not boxy fit, and this summer I had to return size small tops and reorder in a medium - a size I have never worn in EF. I don’t think sizing down will help because it would still be too long. The wine color is lovely though darker than it appears online. I would really like to see this jacket in petite sizing. In browsing the fall selections, I don’t see wool jackets offered in petites except for maybe one in black.
