Fine jeans
Good quality fabric and construction but I don't care for the pocket style that seems to sit low on my frame. I wish EF would bring back the Organic Cotton Stretch Straight Ankle Jean. They were just right for me.

unfortunately i had to return this item. the. fit was not the usual perfect one i have experienced with other EF pants. gorgeous fabric and color, high quality construction.

These will get a lot of wear all year
I have been wanting a jean shape like this and I am quite happy with the purchase. My body shape is not as hourglass as it used to be, but these do fit nicely in the waist and the bottom. My only complaint is my standard complaint: PLEASE add another 1 to 1-1/2 inches to the length. Or at least put a hem in non-knit pants. Especially pants with wider legs because they just look like a mistake when that style is short.
I live in the San Francisco Bay area so these are good for all but the hottest weeks of the year. They are just fine for my workplace, and a great shape to tuck shirts into.
Another thing: this style would make a great khaki pant. Not "khaki denim" but a chino fabric. I may just take these to a tailor and get a pair made, at the right length of course.
(Comment: you have models who are taller than me -I am 5'9" - but somehow you got taller women with average inseam length. I need as close to 32" as you can get)

Love the jeans - they fit great and feel good -
I had a problem with these jeans. The blue dye keeps coming off on my hands. I have washed them in cold water, delicate cycle and put them in the dryer on delicate for low tumbling drying - twice. I would think the jeans should be pre-washed so that this becomes a non issue?

I absolutely loved them till they stretched out
I was so excited to try out this new shape. They looked fantastic till I wore them several hours and they bagged out in the knees and seat. I am so disappointed.

Great fabric but sizing off
I ordered PM in these pants as that is my go to size. Usually lantern pant is mid waist and very comfortable, I found these to be too high waisted and very snug in PM so I returned. Please reconsider that many of your regular customers want comfort first. The lantern pant was my go to style but now I’ll have to be more selective

Great fit, well constructed pair of jeans
These are comfortable and stylish. I took a chance and ordered the PM size; I'm 5 ft 4 and a bit, size 10 usually. It paid off. They fit perfectly. I like that they're not too full: the seams and pockets are interesting. The fabric is a bit stiff, which I hope will soften with a few washes.

Never had such comfortable jeans
The only way I ever feel this comfortable in jeans is when they are 2 sizes too big. The lantern jeans are completely game changing for me and I'll be donating all my other jeans in favor of these. I'm 5'2", 135 lbs and the Petite small is perfect for me. I tried both the PM and PS. When I first put on the PS, I thought "if these shrink they won't work." And when I put on the PM, I thought "these are perfect." BUT. The stretch in the fabric means that after maybe 10 minutes the PM looked and felt like clown pants and the PS felt like heaven. I love that there is space in these pants for a pear shape, meaning room for tummy, hips, butt, and thigh while at the same time not looking two sizes too big. I love the dark wash, and am looking forward to other colors as they become available. I'm not a black or white jeans gal, so hoping for medium blues and a taupe-tone in coming seasons. Looks like these are a staple with EF. Can't wait for more!

Nice jeans but they run quite large
I do love these jeans. Due to the inconstancy of EF sizing, I ordered them in two sizes; ended up keeping the smaller size. The blue color is darker than I expected--nearly black.

Interesting design
I am 5'2'', 125 pounds and tried XS, PP and PS in store. PP was a better fit. Sometimes I prefer XS, but this time it looked enormous overall. The material is very soft and I wonder if it will stretch out a lot
