Comfortable and Flattering
I did not expect these to be as large as they are, fortunately at the time that I ordered, only the XS was available --- and that fits me. I could even have sized down (for reference, I am 5'5" and weigh 118 lbs.)
These pants are not only comfortable and lightweight, but quite flattering, as they are well cut.
Wash well and I have had no experience of color transfer.

Most comfortable pants
Almost returned these because I didn't think the thin fabric would hold up, and didn't like the tie at the waist, since I prefer longer tops and the tie there pooches the shirt our a bit. (Really, is that needed? so one star off) But i was going out of town, and thought they would be great travel pants. And they were! Since then, I have worn them a lot. glad I kept them!

Petite Sizing
I noticed that more often now petite sizing has the same rise measurements as Misses. EF has been minimizing their petite selection and tricking us petite gals into thinking it's truly petite. Petites need a shorter rise (and inseam), period! There is no way to alter the rise in a pair of slacks. Please reconsider understanding the needs of Petite women.

I have 3 pair - would like more
You are out of stock in Petites and I'm thinking of buy the regular size and hemming them. They are that wonderful. In this summer heat and humidity, I have to wear thin fabric. I pair them with any number of thin fabric blouses, or a tank and a blouse worn unbuttoned.

Go-to Summer Pant
The fit and fabric of these pants is terrific for summer - loose and flowing yet flattering. The pockets add a bit of extra style. The denim color is very easy to style with any top in your wardrobe. These pants can be dressed up or down. My go-to style is to pair the pants with a slim tank + loose linen short sleeve blouse, worn open. Great with sandals or sneakers. These pants have washed very well and I have not had a problem with color transfer.

Perfect Summer Weight
I'm very pleased I gave this a try. It's so comfortable in the heat, the color is beautiful, and casual yet polished with a very nice look to the fabric.

Horrible fabric
Not sure what's happening at Eileen Fisher but these pants are about as cheap as you can get. The fabric is without any weight and look sloppy and wrinkled on. Couple that with the transfer on to fabric and furniture, they're going back. I return items more often than keep them any more. $168? They must be kidding.
