Not as pictured. Tsk!
I ordered this dress on sale, and returned it - twice. Neither dress was as pictured. The inside lining is shorter than the outside dress, and it does not have that attractive flounce at the bottom. It looks like a lined nightgown. Not the look I wanted.

Silk cotton dress that can be dress or casual
A lovely dress in a beautiful color and nice fabric. One star off for being "Dry Clean Only". Given the sustainability values this brand represents, I would have expected a better choice. I will probably take the risk and wash by hand, but do better Eileen Fisher.

I bought this silk dress for casual outings and for hot summer days. Very comfortable on and your imagination can go wild with different jewelry, scarves or light sweater or short lightweight jacket.

Comfortable glamour!
Beautiful, shimmery color; lovely flowing dress. It does look a bit like a nightgown, but with a filmy print shawl that picks up its color, it is perfect for a casual summer wedding.

Simple Elegance
I'm going to post my height and weight and the size I usually buy in order to help other shoppers. 5'5" 140lb. 62 years old. I have bought a few Eileen Fisher's in size small, but because a reviewer mentioned tight in the bust and armholes even though she was not large busted, I went with the medium. The armholes are a slight bit bigger than I would have wanted, but they still work. It is flattering and a pale grey, blue, green color. The silk/cotton fabric is more a satin sheen. I think some jewelry and perhaps a scarf will give the outfit a little texture and interest, as it does have slip like quality to it and is too nightgown like on it's own. Hope this helps.
