Lovely linen shirt
Lovely color. Fit is nice, exactly as expected. I will mostly wear this open over a tank and lightweight pants in my warm weather climate.

Love This Shirt
I fell in love with the color Nile last year. The color is gorgeous, soothing, and I have received so many compliments when I wear it. I was thrilled that it was offered again this year. I had purchased the long sleeve linen Delave shirt last year with the lantern pants and really wanted to be able to get the short sleeve version. Thank you EF for a great shirt and beautiful color. I love these button up camp shirts for their comfort and style. Sometimes I roll the short sleeves up to give a different look - so cute. This shirt is great buttoned up or with a tank underneath. I find that the feel of the fabric becomes softer with each wash. It was soft to begin with but becomes all the more delightful as time passes. Nile is a darker version of Seafoam which I also dearly love. I am happy that I can mix and match my Nile and Seafoam pieces. I also like the longer length on this shirt as it increases the styling capabilities.

Color more grey/safari blue than spring-summer blu
I was expecting this to be more of a robins egg light blue, based on the photo… but in reality it has almost a “safari” camp-shirt type look and feel in a earthier grey-blue to it?
That said when I get the next size down in mail, I may keep since it could still be a handy casual top (once I get the next size down to try… I already sized down from my usual L to am M, (I ordered both) but i think amazingly i might need an S — runs big.
— just should be said
1) the item just has a different “vibe” to it,, in its actual color… the actual color feels almost like a grey-ish teal version of a khaki safari camp shirt. As opposed to something in a fresh pastel blue I was looking forward to, for spring and summer wear.
2) was quite oversized,( and I like oversize, to be forgiving of figure flaws) but the shoulder seams sit well off my shoulders and has lots of extra fabric volume so that it just feels like a sort unisex camp shirt — which has its own appeal — but I think I might need the S.
3) I also will probably have the sleeves shortened just an inch so that it shows a tiny bit more “skin” (it’s a lot of fabric and as a 5’ woman, with so much darkish grey-blue fabric, somehow the sleeves look a bit like a work shirt or a Boy Scout leaders uniform shirt (?) and sleeves come almost to my elbows. I feel it would lighten up the feel a bit, and that the sleeves would cut at a more flattering place, if sleeves were a little bit shorter. So it looks a bit less utilitarian maybe if I show just a bit of my arm and not coming so low toward my elbow?
4) Fabric is a little bit more stiff and thick than some EF linen… but I am hoping it would soften up a bit? I
am going to see how the next size down looks before I decide whether to keep this one. I was excited for a short sleeve summery blue linen top, that was long enough to cover my derriere in white jeans, and the other similar top EF has now , is too short, so trying to see if this will work! As I say, it has a sort of unisex Boy Scout leader look to it! Of course I was an active Boy Scout mom, so nothing bad about that! :-)
