- Kalyane is 5'10" and wears a size S in Field, which measures 50 inches on the body. Size PS measures 46 inches on the body. Christina is 5'10" and wears a size 1X in Field, which measures 51 1/2 inches on the body.

Beat the heat in this great dress!
Wore this in Paris during the recent heatwave. Comfortable, stylish and perfect for staying cool in the heat. Dress up with accessories and heels or wear casually with sandals!

How Green & Heavy is my Valley
The fabric is luxe but heavy, IMO...very very heavy, for me at least. I'm 5'4" & bought the small...at my age & stage, I need lighter weight clothing esp in big summer dresses...I've bought this similar style dress from EF before but in the pucker cottons, and those float like a dream.... I like the spaghetti straps, I hear what other reviewers say but I just put a similar color cami underneath & rock on w/ it...at my age no one in my community cares, lol. I had to have it shortened, I just could not live with that much fabric.... I would not buy this again personally and I am leery now of linen dresses from EF as again I think it's just too heavy in a maxi dress esp lantern style. But the quality and cut are impeccable.

Wanted to love but, didn’t fit properly.
Fit is off. Extra fabric in the bodice under the arms. The straps would not stay up even with shortening them. Color was great. Heavy linen fabric. At this price point it should fit better.

Didn’t work out for this apple
I was so excited to see this linen dress style and the colors this season! I have been losing weight as I recover from long-term illness and treated myself to both colors in a size that would work now and that I could wear more loosely in the fall with a top underneath (and even maybe in the spring with a trip to a tailor, who knows). Anyway, I had romanced the long-term for this dress and I. Well, things didn’t really work out. I tried to convince myself they could, but somehow no matter how I adjusted the straps the dress gaped under my arms and smushed my chest as it accentuated my belly. I tried to rationalize that I just needed a bralette underneath and that it’d be ok if the straps showed, but nah, in this summer season, with plans of sticking close to home, I’d rather go without.
The fabric is lovely, as are the colors, but on close inspection I took issue with some of the construction on a $300 dress that made me shudder. The front center seam should have absolutely been finished as a French seam for the dress to lay flat. Please, please don’t lose the little touches of quality that set Eileen Fisher clothing apart and make me not hesitate to associate the name with quality craftsmanship. More bias cut linen options would be amazing.
Unfortunately, I ended up returning both dresses. If you’re shorter and carry more of your weight in your bust and belly, the proportions of this dress might not be the best for you. If it does work, I’m green(fern) and Nile with envy :-)

amazing - comfortable and pretty
excellent dress to wear bra-free. It is unlined, but not see-through. Fabric is substantial enough to hold its shape, and soft enough not to irritate skin. lovely blue/green color. Pockets are big enough to hold a cell phone. Gets LOTS of compliments!
