Classic, timeless and basic
This basic white shirt may seem invisible but it makes everything else look better. It’s invaluable. The fit is flattering as it falls over the body, not too tight. Sleeves are wrist length, shirt can be worn tucked in the front and left long in back, knotted in front it falls below hips in a flattering way. It’s crisp but not rigid. Good with anything casual.

Used to fit
The change in the design of this shirt, from straight/boxy to close at the shoulders/wide at the base, made it uncomfortable, unflattering, and was returned. It still didn't fit right in a larger size, and it was also returned. The color was nice.

Nice to have an all cotton shirt. I like that it doesn’t have a chest pocket— who needs one? And it has a loose fit without being sloppy at the shoulders. Comfortable and easy for summer.

Great poplin shirt
Nice shirt. Glad that it us made in petite sizes and they were available. I purchased shirt in my usual PM size. I am 5' tall. No complaints about the fit. I planned to wear it with white pants. Unfortunately black did not fo any good to my face and I returned it and reordered in white color. I only wish for crisper poplin which does not wrinkle easily.

Nice White Shirt
I love this shirt. It is a thin cotton that looks fresh and feels nice. It washes easily in the machine, cold water, hang dry, no ironing. And a nice cut that is not too baggy or too tight. My favorite shirt in many years.

Really Nice but DURABILITY Seems Unlikely
I got the Adriatic, a lovely deep blue, and it has the hallmarks of EF tailoring: flattering, will go with many things (except wide leg bottoms, that would be sloppy). But HAS ANYBODY NOTICED THAT EF DURABILITY HAS COMPLETELY GONE DOWNHILL???
I am NOT hard on my clothes. I take good care of them. My wardrobe is extensive enough so that even something that is on heavy rotation is not worn very often. I’ve noticed that some EF clothing, even when hand washed and lined dried exclusively, is right down there with some fast fashion when it comes to longevity. It NEVER used to be this way.
I’m bummed. I’ve only worn this top a few times, and I can tell it’s not going to last.

A nice shirt
Some of the shirts I have ordered in the past year were so tent-like that I ordered a petite-medium this time; it fits fine. I just hope that the garment doesn't shrink across the bust. A petite-large would be too big. The fabric is lighter than I expected, so the shirt will work as a light top layer in summer as well as under a sweater in cooler weather. I'm barely 5 feet tall, so the arms and overall length are more suitable for me than the regular size. I ordered this during a sale; had I paid full-price, I probably would not have kept it because the fabric doesn't have much body and will probably wrinkle. I hate ironing.

Looking for long sleeve cotton
Needed a light weight long sleeve cotton in mid tone to dark color for the crazy weather we've been having in northern NJ this Spring! It's been one day hot, one day cold, one day raining, one day overcast. It's June but the weather has not been conducive for light colored linens. I purchased this in black. Happy with fabric and fit.

My ultimate white shirt
Fashion editors are forever promoting ‘the great white shirt’ - for me this is it. Lovely cut and fit, lovely material and covers everything from smart to casual. I always take one or two on holiday - it’s a great shirt for travelling and sightseeing as it is comfortable and cool enough to wear on hot sunny days (and substitutes as a light sunscreen if I get caught out), but is appropriate if I’m visiting a temple or a holy site. It can look tidy to go out for dinner in the evening too. And it washes beautifully, coping with make-up, sunscreen and food stains alike. I now have five of these in white poplin - please don’t ever stop making them Eileen!

LOVELY SUMMER SHIRT
I purchased the shirt in Sea Star which is a lovely crisp shade that I will wear frequently in the coming summer. I hope other items will be offered in this shade; some of the EF colors have been so dreary and kind of 'off base' lately so I've been sticking to black, white and navy pieces. I usually wear a small in EF and that's what I ordered and it fits, but probably could have gone with a medium to get more 'float.'

Perfect Blouse. Gorgeous Color
I love the feel and colors of EF cotton blouses. They’re perfect for here in FL. I don’t worry too much if the sleeves are too long because I roll them for a casual look. Looks great with jeans, cotton pants, crepe pants etc. I wear it open as a jacket with a tank or closed as an oversized blouse . Love them. I wish she did ever color in cotton.

This is a great shirt. After reading other reviews I was prepared for the lighter weight poplin (which I really prefer as I run hot) and the slightly off-white tint (also fine - it reads as white.) I got Medium to be sure the sleeves are long enough, which they easily are. I will layer this and want the cuffs to show. I have ordered similar EF shirt styles in linen in size Small because the shoulders fit better in Small, and I’m less likely to layer those. The shoulders in Medium are slightly bigger than I need - and I’m broad-shouldered! - but not a dealbreaker. I’m really happy with this shirt.

Pretty but wrinkles
This is a great looking shirt, and I always feel good putting it on. But it is high maintenance for a cotton garment. After I have worn it a little while, the shirt is no longer crisp.
