I have some 15+ yr old EF pants in my closet and they fit nicely with the back in fashion style. I got these at a great price at Saks but not returnable. Waist and top of hip fine but then the flow over the hip to the feet is humongous , And I look like a fat buffoon. Luckily I can alter them and make them more reasonable. This might look great on the pages of Vogue where they exaggerate for arts sake, but they look nothing like pictured on the model

Ridiculously Good
I ordered these half-hoping they would not work for me since they were 200 dollars. But of COURSE they are like Jesus came down and measured my body and the archangels sewed them. I'm getting ready to really empty my closet and just keep about 25 high quality things that I wear over and over, and these pants might be the beginning of that journey. Absolutely fabulous. They are long, but I'm 5'6" and way more leg than torso. Worth every penny (grrrr).

Beautiful pants, not so petite
Wonderfully flattering, and elegant material. I did have to *shorten* the petite small by 1 1/2 inches, though, even though I'm a "tall" petite (5 4") with pretty long legs. Can't imagine what my 5' 1" sisters had to do.

A new favorite
I love these. They are wide-legged without looking clownish, and the length is perfect for a Demi-wedge flat. When dressed up properly, they are office-worthy. Incredibly comfortable. And the nocturne color on sale was worth it. I will wear these with black and white tops and sweaters and endlessly for many months of the year.

Eileen Fisher has sold me on Ponte!
I'm 5'2" and rely on EF petite sizes. The pants an elegant hand, and are a year-round weight for California. They pare with just about every top in my closet. The leg is not too wide and creates a long leg - hear me, petites? Easy to care for fabric does not wrinkle with wear. I was hesitant about ponte, because so many I've tried have been made with very heavy fabric - these are just right!

Flattering, comfortable and versatile style
I already had cropped wide-leg pants in this fabric, and decided that it would be good to have them in the full-length version, too. These have a broader waistband, which I like. This design makes it easy to style different kinds of sweaters and shirts over the pants. I love the weight and ease of this ponte fabric. It moves in a nice way with me and has enough substance to cover minor flaws. Very flattering and versatile. I would buy them in another color if they were available.
