Pants with a unique fit!
I wear these pants so much, the wren color fits in my wardrobe, the shape is flattering to my small frame. The pleats and pockets do not add bulk but are interesting. A good change from wide or lantern pants.

Great Staple! Great Style!
I really really love these... They were a surprising find and remind me of the slouchy pant in the flex tencel ponte... so cozy and such a perfect "fitted/structured but loose" style. I would definitely take this in more colors... I looked for the black, but they are sold out in my normal EF size (XXS, which is the size I took in these Wren colored ones). I will have to wait for them to come back, I suppose. The Wren ones will be a workhorse, regardless: they are a good brown/green neutral and I have many tops/sweaters to coordinate. pair with a black shoe and you're good.

Love there pants
Great fit and love the shape. Good basic neutral. Fit perfectly. For reference I’m 5’5” 117 lbs and take an XS. I’m 77 years old so I carry my weight in my waist and hips.

Great pants
The carrot pant is a great pant. Nicely cut, pockets and pleats stemming from the waistline narrowing toward the bottom- hence “carrot”. I have a pair in wren and in black. Wear them anywhere in the ponte fabric, cozy.

Fantastic. Why not in more colors and petites??
Love these. I'm normally a Petite Medium but since they weren't available in Petite, I tried regular small. They're a great fit. I will need to hem them a couple of inches for work to keep the nice drape. Very similar fit to the lantern pant. Another reviewer described this color as the perfect 'not brown, not green, not gray.' They really are a great dark neutral, and more interesting than black. I'll be treating this as an olive color and be wearing them with the Dark Adriatic ponte pieces (dark teal) and black, and mixing with lighter teal fabrics, as well as navy, lavenders pinks, light neutrals. I like these so much I ordered a second pair to save.

Stretch is a bonus!!
Great pant. Some structure without risk. Am buying in 2 sizes for fat days and skinny days. Really comfortable - more colors please. Love the monochromatic wren color and CB look.

Nice fitting dressy casual pants.
Beautiful and comfortable pants. Love the pockets. To me they come across as a casual dressy look. Fit was perfect. I’m 5’6” 138 pounds and bought size small. They are not tight at all.

These pants are perfect for travel!
I don't know what a 'Carrot Pant' is, but I love the shape, the fit and the color. The Wren color is surprisingly versatile and these pants are very comfortable while looking neat and tidy. Gotta love the Ponte!

Might be nice with a better sizing chart
Fabric and color great but sizing chart leaves a lot to be desired. Following chart, I’m 5’5” and 118 lbs small frame , gives me way to much fabric and very baggy. This is the second attempt and I’m tired of returning. Not wanting a tight fit but don’t want to look like I’m trying to hide my body

Great Travel Pants
This is my second pair of these pants. This pant is not as loose fitting as the Lantern pant and the flex ponte fabric is wonderful. Easy to wash and does not wrinkle.

THESE
When Eileen gets it right, it's RIGHT. While I don't always love the fabric quality of their casual pants I do buy a lot of Eileen petites because of the proportions. Each time I try a new pant I cross my fingers. THESE ARE GREAT! They are a deep black and are very soft without calling to mind legging material. I got compliments all day both days I've worn them. There is no pilling after 2 washes (no dryer). I'm 5'1" and they come down over the top of my bootie. Petite small is already sold out so I'm looking forward to additional colors.

Excellent trousers!
So comfortable. Ponte material is great for travel as it stays crisp and does not wrinkle easily. These are a favorite pant of mine! Love the pockets. I wear these with my EF silk blouse and jacket to dress them up and a long tee for more casual events. I just add tights for colder weather. Perfect

Perfect pants, comfortable and stylish
I usually wear EF x-large in pants (16W, Apple), but after reading reviews, decided to size down to large. Worked perfectly for me. The waist is more fitted and the legs are reasonably wide. The overall look is professional and even works with front pleats on Apple figure. The material is so soft and comfortable. I have a 10 hour flight for a business trip and have found my pants,

Great fall weather pants
Just received this item in my regular size small; love the pockets and length, which ends right at my ankle (5’5”). The material is a thicker fabric and suitable for cooler temperatures. Fairly loose fit, perhaps will fit a bit better after first wash and dryer on low heat. Would also buy this pant in a gray or olive or marine blue. Got with the recent small discount, pleased with the quality and design.

Runs big but great pants
EF medium in pants almost always fit. The medium in these pants was too big. But I liked the style so much I took the risk on reordering in size small. The small looks great! So if you like the idea of these pants consider sizing down. On this rare occasion it worked for me.

Interesting fit and great fabric
I haven't had a chance to wear these yet because it's still too hot for this type of fabric. But I did try them on and the fit is perfect around the waist and pretty loose in the rear. The front pleats lie perfectly so I didn't want to size down. I spoke with Customer Service and was advised that the fit is exactly as it's meant to be, baggy butt and all. So I look forward to wearing them as soon as it cools down.

Love these pants
These pants look great on my 5'2", somewhat sturdy body. They'll likely look good on any body. The fabric is thick and hides bumps and lumps but not so thick that it is hot and uncomfortable. The shape, the pleats, even the higher rise than I usually prefer - love!

Nice styling, very disappointing fabric
Style of pants was interesting however when they arrived I didn't like the feel of the fabric or the weight. In addition, because the pockets were so large, it felt like there was a double layer of the fabric across my abdomen. Finally, I ordered the size I wear in all EF pants but these were too big.
