I was thrilled when this top came out last year in washable silk. Now I have 2 colors in viscose jersey to match my ivory and black in silk. On me, the top (in both fabrics) is insanely flattering, and is especially welcome with things like cropped wide legs that need a more cropped top. This fabric has a pretty hefty weight and so will also be nice as a layer under wool cardis or jackets, especially for those of us who run on the warm side. But I really wish Eileen would make actual colors more often! Black and white are relatively boring, especially when the options (my silk ones) are black and ivory. . . .

A Must Have Wardrobe Piece!
This shell was really a surprise! I had expected the usual Eileen Fisher quality, but this piece surpassed my expectations. It seems to glide over the shoulders and then just drape ever so slightly to rest just below the waist. The button front says that for me, this shell may become a vest from time to time! Wonderful design! Wonderful fabric!

lovely lightweight and versatile top
Lovely top that feels like a very lightweight, versatile sweater. Comfy, drapes well, and luxurious feel, with a classy but not boring look. I may also wear it as a light sweater vest over a soft t or l/s top. Buttons down the front.

New favorite top
I love Eileen Fisher for its sustainable mission but can’t always find styles that are young and flattering. This top with it’s slightly cropped length and V-neck is PERFECT to pair with any high-waisted pant to show off your natural waistline without being form fitting. The fabric is so comfortable that I love throwing it on to work from home, but is still polished enough to dress up and wear into the office. I am about to get it in the other color too - I wish it came in more shades!

Versatile top!
I bought is top in a smaller size (M instead of L), and it fits fine. So perhaps it runs large, as I doubt I’ve lost that much weight... It’s soft, like all the viscose tencel), and looks great with pants or jeans. Great piece.

Perfect cut

black button-up jersey shell
I was looking for a v-neck button-up top and this item fits the bill, though I would not have paid full price for it. The sizing is true to Eileen Fisher. I am 5'7" but I find many EF tops are too long. This one hits just below the waist, so it is best worn untucked. My only issue is that it seems like the neck might be a little wide. Overall, it is a good buy.

Love the shape and comfort
Really nice shape and style. Not sure about fabric wearing well.. we'll see about that.. Wish it came in more colors at the same price as the black (purchased on sale for a reasonable price)..
