I love the style of the pants, which are comfortable and stylish. However the material is terrible. It stretches out and looks ridiculous after a few hours wear.

These pockets may be worse than no pockets at all
I bought these pants for work and sadly I selected the wrong size of 2x, should have gotten 1x. That said, I like the fabric and length and the cut with slight taper to create the lantern silhouette. I can't give them more than 2 stars though because the pockets are ridiculous. They are located toward the middle / front of the pants vs the side, creating a weird pouch effect. And they are too small. No phone will fit or even very small wallet, thus rendering them useless.

Tweedy Hemp Lantern Pants
I purchased these in my usual xxs. I’m 5’1” and 127 lbs. The 27 inch inseam should be fine on me, but I find these to hang about an inch too long. I have decided that is because on the rise that is longer than usual. I can roll the waistband once, then they’re ok. I would order the pp, but it’s sold out as usual. Please stock deeper quantities in petite sizes, EF!
Not sure if I will keep.
I would have purchased the shorter jacket but it’s sold out. I don’t know why EF keeps leaning towards the super long jackets, especially for summer.
The fabric is very soft, rather limp, actually.

Not the run-of-the-mill Summer Fabric
I am always looking for something a little different and these did not disappoint. I bought the Petite Medium and my only difficulty so far is finding a top that is not too short and not too long. If I pair them with my longer tops, the outfit looks like pjs. My bum is not small enough for me to wear these pants with a short top. For me, they are different enough, and stylish enough to keep hunting through my closet for the right top.

These are my favorite pants!
These pants checks all of my boxes regarding fit and fabric composition. The fabric is beautiful and substantial, yet it drapes well. The denim-like style goes with so much of my wardrobe. As someone who had abdominal surgery and can no longer wear button-and-fly pants without pain, please keep making pull-on elastic waist pants such as these! I would love it if these pants were available in other colors, especially light blue.

Beautiful, functional
I’m thinking of getting a second pair of these pants because I can’t stop wearing them they’re so comfortable. I love the pockets they have a very flattering silhouette and the material is so beautiful. I wish this came in other colors in the same fabric.

Runs big, size down
I love EF lantern pants - the style is flattering on me. I ordered my normal size M and although I like a casual loose fit, these pants looked like pajamas on me. The length is too long and they were quite baggy in the butt and hips. I love the style and the fabric so am going to give a try with size small. I am 5’8” and 175 lbs.
