Bateau to Go
Bought this in xs as I read reviews that said it was a generous cut. Could have probably gone down another size as I am petite (petites were sold out). But I generally like it and will see how it looks with slim pants (as the slits go up pretty far and you definitely need a gameplan). Love the fabric.

So much going for it
This top has a lot of pluses: the fabric is divine: layers of light silk, stitched into subtle, textured horizontal stripes. It's really lovely and light, but not see-through. Very classy. I love a bateau neckline, and this has it. Slits up the side for movement over slim pants.
Unfortunately, this was a swing and a miss for me, possibly due to sizing. Used to be I an EF XS up top without fail. But this (and other tops lately) have been fitting great around the shoulders and bust, but flaring out with too much fabric around the hips. I also found the sleeves didn't drape in a fluid way; they sort of stuck out. My little stick arms poking out didn't look right. But I might try an XXS. Honestly, it's a gorgeous piece and worth seeing if it suits you if you love a tunic top.

A lovely, versatile tunic
I bought this recently and will find many occasions to wear it in all but the hottest weather. The silk texture has a lovely sheen. The empire line is forgiving for people who don't want to call attention to their waistline. I'm just under 5'4" and the length is perfect for me. It looks good with different pants profiles, and I'm so glad for the long slits that don't come all the way to the waist but help the tunic move on the body. A wonderful piece! I hope in future this style will be made in other colours.
