Fantastic. Only skirt I need anymore.
Great look. Great fit. Definitely runs a bit larger, but it's fine if you're curvy. I wore it as a dress under a blazer too.

Cut too narrow
Have purchased numerous skirts in Medium from Eileen Fisher. I love the fabric however it is cut very narrow in the hips. Great if you have a perfectly flat stomach otherwise forget it.

Sizing off
The sizing and fit seemed off with this. I ordered a S which is my usual size in other brands but was too big. This was my first Eileen Fisher purchase so maybe the sizing is different. The fabric is nice snd light though. Returned.

Great travel skirt
This is a PERFECT travel skirt. It won't wrinkle, and packs up to almost nothing. I. purchased one of these about 7 years ago and I wore it to death. Got a replacement and it is a wardrobe staple!

Perfection---except for length.
Gorgeous as always. Perfect quality. And sized as I wanted---it was just considerably longer than I felt was flattering on me, so I returned it. I like skirts that hit right in the bend of the knee and this was well below, even on my 5'10" frame. I'll be watching for one that's a few inches shorter.

Great skirt for a size zero!
I ordered this skirt in a size ten. The fabric is stretchy. After trying it on at home it looked as though a size 10 person had dressed in a size 6. I immediately returned it and ordered instead a black wool pencil skirt by Eileen Fisher in a size 10. It fit perfectly, as usual for Eileen Fisher garments.

Versatile and flattering
This is a great, neutral slim, mid calf skirt that goes well under all shapes of tunics (A-shape, long and narrow, asymmetrical. I'm 5' 6" and it lands a couple of inches below knee....unless you are model height don't think it's knee length! A flattering look and a great black pant alternative in the warmer weather.

Not quite right
I love all things EF---dresses, tunics, pants, jackets, hats, scarves, etc. but this skirt was a miss. The fit was meh---I toggle between a L and an XL depending on whether it's for a social or professional context and the cut and drape. However this skirt, in "bramble" (read: Spanx nude color) looked dowdy. It was not slender or form fitting enough to truly count as a pencil skirt and it hit somewhere below the knee that added 10 years to me. Really not flattering. Back it went!

Badly tailored and not flattering.
Not happy. The size was right, but the whole look was frumpy. Not tailored properly, the seams on both sides were weirdly located slightly in front when I tried it on. Too long, and not flattering in the back. Didn't look anything like the models. I love the fabric and color though. It is the first time I have this experience with anything I have purchased from EF. I have returned it.

Forward side seams? Why?
Nice length, great fabric, refreshing change of pace in the colors. However, what's with the forward side seams? They make the skirt look like you've got it on wrong or it's twisted. Can we please just have a regular, classic, elegant skirt with no "fashionable" quirks?

basic black; see through bone pencil
Same stretchy lightweight crepe, but bone was too see through and every lump showed; needs lining.
Fit well in everyday; I agree length without a back vent is difficult to walk in, but isn't that what a pencil skirt supposed to do to get attention in heels? Could have been a little shorter only because I am short in height, and the fabric covered my knees.

I love this skirt so much that I order 2 skirts in 2 different sizes just in case my size change. It is so hard to find a nice pencil skirt without a split going up the back. There is ease of movement and I love the jet black color. The length is absolutely perfect. It is very professional for work a nice dinner or casual wear. Thank you for a perfect pencil skirt.

Season Spanning Wardrobe Staple
I spent most of the summer looking for a well constructed, slim fitting 'white' skirt. I watched EF with no success until I stumbled upon the Bone Washable Stretch Crepe Pencil Skirt on sale. How did I miss this previously? It is EXACTLY what I wanted. Easy care, simple to style and the length is perfect for me. I took the only size available, Medium. It fits beautifully. I am 5'9", 150-ish lbs. I can dress this up with the EF systems shells or I can dress it down. I love it with casual cotton tunics during the heat of summer - so much cooler than pants. In winter this will style with any number of EF shells and sweaters. A season spanning wardrobe staple I will enjoy for years.

Everyone should own this skirt! It is simple and flattering (I'm a short 3x and it works on me!). It does not have to try hard to be casual or dressy and it is washable and travels like a dream. Seriously, you could re-home most of your skirts and just have this workhorse in your closet.

I love all of my crepe pants and now I love this crepe pencil skirt. It fits great and can be dressed up or down. I travel a lot and is an easy pack. I wear can wear w just about any top and look well dressed. More like this please.
