The fabric is very thin, more like shirt material. I like the crinkle texture. The pants run large even for Eileen Fisher sizing.

Beautiful, but thin
I am happy to finally own a pair of EF lantern pants. They will definitely be comfortable in hot weather. However I think it is good to know that the fabric is somewhat see through, so what you wear underneath matters.

So disappointed!
The first time I wore these, they stretched out of shape and became so baggy and looked terrible. The crinkle fabric uncrinkled after sitting for lunch. So disappointing.
