It's huuu-uge
Sized down one size, but I still swam in this. It is so close to the mark, though. Wonderful pleating at the back, great shaping around the hem, and the linen is great. But there is so much fabric in the body that it just won't work. too bad - I loved everything else about it.

Not what I wanted, but…
I had wanted another black and white shirt but my size was sold out. This shirt is the same cut as the other shirt that I had wanted, so I ordered this one in XS, two sizes smaller than I usually wear. It fits and will go with many of my pants. However, I preferred the cotton of the other shirt to the linen of this shirt. The linen is a bit nubby and I am concerned about how it will wear.

Perfect Linen
Love the fabric. Very similar to puckered linen. It’s light and very easy care. No need to iron. It’s my go to choice in the summer. Nice back pleat and drape. It will even go well with leggings in the fall and spring.

Great fabric, bad design choices
I got this shirt on sale because I really love the fabric, it feels great and looks interesting. Needed to size down from my usual S to XS because it is huge. This makes the sleeves a smidgen short, but that I can live with as I wear them rolled up anyway. I love the generous gathering at the back which adds generous swingy width and movement. The length is where it goes all wrong. I am 5'7" and still the proportions are off. I also dislike the square hem - the shirt would have looked much better with the hem curving down from the side seam to the front (like the cotton poplin shirt). I'm keeping the shirt, but I'll shorten it and curve the hem, adding a pocket with the stripes going horizontal.
