Thin, very soft, and nothing special
I bought these in graphite elsewhere and was disappointed. The velvet is thin and the rise is a little short and the knees were wrinkled no matter what I did. They fit in my usual size, L, but I don't find them very attractive. Fairly narrow elastic waist, no tummy assistance, and thin (tho very soft) velvet. I'd hoped to wear them with tunics or short dresses, but I don't find them flattering enough to keep.

Beautiful product, shipped in a very bad package.
Very nice! The fabric of these leggings is lightweight, almost silky. They are very dressy, hang nicely and still fit my legs like typical leggings.

Great winter and holiday basic
The velvet on these is so nice one can almost wear them as pants under tunics. I bought a size up so they wouldn’t fit quite so tight. They still function as leggings however now have more versatility in what I wear them with. Wonderful quality!

Luxurious Leggings
Beautiful leggings in a luxurious velvet. They can be dressed up or down. I am 5'7" and have no problem with their length, but be aware they are ankle length and not full length leggings. My only criticism is that that the elastic in the waist does not hold them up and thus I am pulling them up every minute which is annoying. Other than that they are fabulous.

Nice leggings, not a good fit
Nice fabric, lustrous, feels stretchier than past iterations. But my usual size was too big around the waist (I didn’t think they would stay up) and too short in the legs. So no point trying another size. Too bad, I really wanted them.

Soft and comfortable but I can only give the leggings three stars because of my frustration with the Eileen Fisher sizing.
I have E/F leggings ranging in size from petite small, regular xs to xxs. They all feel too big. For reference, I’m 5’4’and 110 lbs. and wear a small in Spanx leggings and an xs in Athleta leggings.
I would think adding more spandex would help make the leggings reversible is for sizing.

Maybe it's just my body, but these velvet leggings run large....hence the 4 stars. I'm always an extra small in EF leggings so that's what I ordered. I exchanged them for the double extra small to get the sleek look I like. I'm a size 8 in pants...I can't help but wonder what the size 4's do?? Other than that, these leggings are wonderful...soft, stretchy, versatile, and cozy warm. They look great with a casual denim shirt and clunky boots or the velvet tank top and sparkle cardigan. I'm happy with my purchase.
