Love these pants. They are elegant and flowy and very versatile. The neutral bone colour is very versatile. I would h buy in other colours, especially on sale.

Black silk pants, well tailored, poor fabric
I do not recommend these black silk pants. Unfortunately the fabric picks up every speck of dust and an adhesive roller is necessary to use to make them presentable. Please return to using the previous silks of the past.

Sizing Seemed Off
The waist in the 1X was very large, around 40". The pant cut also seemed overly large for a 1X. I had to return the item as it was simply way too large for me. I have other 1X Eileen Fisher slacks in the same material and they fit perfectly so not sure why these were out-sized.

Great wardrobe staple
Love the straight cut. It's newer than a tapered leg but as a very short woman, gives me the feel of the current very full leg without overpowering my silhouette. They work with other pieces I already own for a variety of evening looks.

Beautiful pants
These are beautiful, luxurious pants. I was hoping for a fabric similar to jersey or crepe, and decided to try these to experience the fit. The fit was great but I returned because I need a more casual fabric. Perhaps the slouch pants will come back in stock for petite large??? If my lifestyle was different ( am now retired) I would have kept them

Perfect fit and drape
I bought these to replace an older style I have worn for years, and I love the updated straight shape, ankle length, and pockets. My usual EF pant size medium fits perfectly. These pants look great with all types of tops, but especially newer shorter styles. I expect the lightweight silk to travel well.

Pants are the perfect length and fit for me . I’m 5’4” 130 lbs and happy to not have to hem . Tried on with (2) tops in same fabric color and keeping both ; getting in Black and Bone . Recommend

Disappointed that these pants are NOT lined.
I have EF System silk trousers in bone, so I was expecting the black silk ones to be lined as well. These tend to cling and do not hang as nicely as my lined System pieces. I suggest that 'lined' or 'unlined' be included in your descriptions for online shoppers.

Best Summer Pants Ever!!
Cool, comfortable and always look chic! Can dress them up or down. I've always worn and loved the silk georgette pants but this particular style is the best ever for summer. Perfect summer pants! I bought them in both black and bone.

Good with Caveats
I bought two pairs of these since I like having basics in my wardrobe. My similar black silk georgette pants have worn well -12 plus years old? and are still in decent shape but I'm concerned my old pair might start to fray.
The cut of the new pants is extra roomy at the waist/stomach/hips- more roomy than my old pair. Hem edge is the same width as my old pair.
A few drawbacks though: the static electricity and clinginess of these pants is amazing. Despite hanging them in the closet for several weeks the clinginess has not dissipated. I had to turn them inside out and use an anti static spray on them- even now I'm not sure that they hang as well as my old pair. Secondly, I wish they were full length. EF has way too many clothes in the past year and this year in ankle length. Some of us are tall and need full length or have aging ankles and feet we no longer want to display prominently. Shorter women can always get their pants shortened but taller women are out of luck!
Finally, I hope EF will give up the padded paper envelopes- they truly create a mess and I wondered if the fine paper padding debris was part of the static problem but the second pair had a similar issue. I appreciate the ecological efforts of EF but please go back to normal cardboard boxes!

Wrong shape
I really like the fabric, quality and comfort of these silk pants - but I can't wear this style. The proportions of wide leg pants - whether these or any other EF fabric - are all wrong for me even in petite sizes (5 feet tall). They make me look 10 pounds heavier and 3 inches shorter, so I returned these. On the other hand, the tapered narrow leg version of this pant is great - I own it in 2 colors and would buy more. Even with those, however, the side seams need narrowing between the hip and knee.

Runs small and short
I have a few older generation versions of Eileen’s black silk pants, including a straight leg with pockets from 2-3 years ago. This update runs smaller overall — I had to size up, and even then the pockets show through, even in the black. Tight on the thighs, and short. Fortunately my older pieces still look like new and are truly sustainable: wash, blacks that have never faded even with years of machine washing, stable and durable fabric with some weight to it, impeccably made and finished. I’ll pass on this flimsy, skimpy update.

Elegant, flowing pant
Beautiful pant, flowing, elegant, relaxed. Fit, however, is not the best for me. I usually get a 2 in jeans, XS in other pants because the waist is too loose in 4 or S. The XS in these felt too short in length and fit in lower torso so I bought size S and will have to take the waist in.
