Thought this would be a very versatile dress for many occasions. Turns out, it was just average and way too long. But I love EILEEN FISHER and will always make it my first stop when looking to purchase a great piece.

Impressive in bright blue
I thought this dress looked unimpressive on the hanger, but when I tried it on in bright blue I had to have it. The color amps up the simple design. I could wear the dress to a wedding with dressy accessories, or for coffee over a tee shirt and jeans. The rich color and long sleeves make it at least a three-season garment in my climate.

surprised and happy
I was surprised at the fit! I am smaller up top, and wider in the belly, and it can be challenging to find a fit that's flattering. I haven't worn this sort of fabric before, so we'll see, although it seems like it will be nice, and not too hot. I have tried other brands' shirt dresses and was extremely unhappy with the look and fit. I am pleasantly surprised with this EF dress. Will definitely buy more.

Beautiful fabric
This piece has a gorgeous drape and flow. I love the weight of the fabric in that it encourages movement but holds its shape.

Sleeves are a little tight in upper arms. That and the fact that the dress came by mail via the most circuitous route ever prevent me from giving it 5 stars.

Versatile and soft to wear
