Impressive in bright blue
I thought this dress looked unimpressive on the hanger, but when I tried it on in bright blue I had to have it. The color amps up the simple design. I could wear the dress to a wedding with dressy accessories, or for coffee over a tee shirt and jeans. The rich color and long sleeves make it at least a three-season garment in my climate.

surprised and happy
I was surprised at the fit! I am smaller up top, and wider in the belly, and it can be challenging to find a fit that's flattering. I haven't worn this sort of fabric before, so we'll see, although it seems like it will be nice, and not too hot. I have tried other brands' shirt dresses and was extremely unhappy with the look and fit. I am pleasantly surprised with this EF dress. Will definitely buy more.

Almost perfect
I love the fabric and color, but I already have a lot of Eileen Fisher shirts, and the shirtdress style is becoming a bit boring. I really appreciate your simple and classic designs, but please consider offering more variety beyond the shirt style.
Also, please offer more color options — it seems EF loves all kinds of blue and there’s too much blue in my Eileen Fisher wardrobe.

In addition to general use in the summer, this looks like it will be an excellent travel dress as it's so lightweight and will dry overnight. I tried the XXS and the PS. The XXS, being a bit smaller, fit me better, though I had to shorten it by 4 inches to suit my 5'4 height. Excellent fit through shoulders, hangs beautifully.
With pockets, this would be a five-star dress.

This dress is extremely comfortable and fits beautifully. I don't generally wear dresses, but this one is so versatile. You can dress it up or down, or open it to look like a long jacket over pants and shirts. Wish it came in some beautiful fun colors!

I bought the clove color, it was amazing, so I got the black. Wearing it for my son's graduation party. It's so beautiful, I feel slimer when wearing this dress. I also got some silk scarves to dress it up. The fabric is not a see-through, which is great. Please bring more colors.
