Georgette Crepe Classic Shirt
Purchased this beautiful silk georgette crepe classic shirt in black. Fits true to size, drapes well, and the longer length is perfect! I will wear it over the straight leg ponte or stretch crepe slacks. This shirt is a perfect travel piece for dressy occasions. This beautiful shirt can also be worn with denim. Very elegant! Love it!

I was disappointed
The Forest Floor color is very pretty but I did not realize there was a Basic Length and a Long Length is this exact shirt, Silk Georgette Crepe Classic Collar Shirt. I thought I was selecting another color in the lovely silk shirt I already had. The Long Length is a good 3 inches longer than the Basic Length, so be careful what you order!

Comfortable and elegant
This black shirt is comfortable and elegant. I bought it to wear with a special piece of jewelry. It is perfect for that and so much more. Fit is typical for EF - I'm a size 8 typically and a small fit just right. The sleeves were the right length to wear long and buttoned. The length worked with a concho belt or wearing it loose and untucked.

A Newcomer to Buying Clothing on Line
I must try on clothing before I purchase it. Every brand and every style has a different cut. I have found that a plain white shirt that fits perfectly this season may have a skimpier cut from the same brand next year. As I am not one to purchase an article, try it on and send it back if it doesn’t fit to my satisfaction (too much trouble) I prefer to shop in a store. Nonetheless I found myself homebound because of an injury recently, with the holidays approaching. I was looking for an item that could be dressed up or casual, and as my positive experience with Eileen Fischer goes back 20+ years, I decided to give it a try.
I couldn’t be happier. I LOVE the black silk georgette crepe classic blouse. It is thigh length, which is exactly what I wanted for casual wear, and I can easily dress it up with a black patent leather belt as an accessory. It fits my shoulders as it did the model, and the collar stands nicely. This is a classic that will remain in my wardrobe for man many years to come.
