Great Cardigan
I have never bought hemp before but loved the blue color and it was on sale and while I had to buy a size smaller than usual as my regular size was out of stock it fit perfect. Looking forward to wearing this sweater this fall.

Another versatile wardrobe addition
As with several other EF pieces, I just wanted to try it on but I liked it too much too return. I’m 5”4”, 125#. The small is roomy for layering and hangs beautifully. The navy is clear and bright. I couldn’t justify sending it back.

Friendly & elegantly casual cardigan
I chose this cardigan because it appeared to the same or a similar shape as another EF cropped cardigan that I was already enjoying (one knit from deep grey marino wool).
While this deep blue organic cotton hemp cardigan is the same shape as the marino wool cropped cardigan, and also has delightfully large buttons, the cotton/hemp fiber gives it a completely different character. Although I had expected a soft cotton knit, the navy blue cotton/hemp sweater has a wonderful crisp texture. I really like how it feels and looks. It is elegantly casual. Despite the crispness of the yarn & knit, the cardigan has enough stretch and give (without getting baggy) and a gentle soft casual drape, with just enough floppiness. It looks great over a cotton t-shirt and it loves to be paired with blue jeans. I've worn it buttoned and unbuttoned -- I think I prefer it unbuttoned and loose.
The sleeves are long enough for my long arms, and some days I fold the sleeves back a couple of inches at the wrist (I have a habit of pushing sleeves up...)
I've become very attached to this cropped cardigan and have worn it nearly every day for a week (which isn't unusual when a new sweater comes into my life...).
It has become a friendly companion as the weather begins to warm with spring, but I live near the ocean and this sweater is great for chilly foggy mornings.
