So disappointed
I loved this sweater when I bought it to wear on a long flight. Perfect length, color, weight, texture. It was a 16 hour flight, when I got off of the plane I noticed lots of pills on one side. Directions said to hand wash, I did, very carefully. More pills. Still loved the sweater. Got one of those pill shavers and it made a hole. So I totally ruined it for good. If you buy it, dry clean and beware of pill shavers.

Please make more of this in the petite size range, ans in this exact length! This length is so much better for me than your “basic”-length or the short-length versions of this Peruvian cotton v-neck (interesting how you offered 3 versions in 3 lengths! This one was a hit with reviewers), as it covers my derriere just right when wearing tight-ish white jeans or somewhat clingy EF crepe pull-on pants — (but it doesn’t drown the wearer either like a tunic length)
the weave is so good at draoing in a flattering way, the fine-gauge knit doesn’t bulk, nor get too hot, it flatters the shoulders because thankfully it is not a dolman or dropped shoulder sleeve, but rather it sits nicely on shoulder for a more tailored lovely look. Also the b-neck isn’t too low which is such a find!
Add a little jewelry, cute shoes and white (or blue) jeans — voilá! Not too hot, just perfect for really almost all 4 season! Please make more, more colors and pls include these colors in the petite size range too! It’s a favorite!

Love this Deep Adriatic sweater
I wish EF would make this Deep Adriatic a part of their permanent color palette. I also love that is a v neck. Something that I wish EF would offer more often since it is a flattering look for a larger chest. I wasn't sure about the blend, but am finding that is is holding up better that the pure cotton does.

Not for petites
The hemline to this sweater is was woven too wide and wears too long for a short person. Beautifully made and loved the soft blue color. I doubt sizing down would have helped because the drape was there, just too long. Will look good on a tall person

My favorite! Pls make more! All sold out! :-)
This was my very favorite sweater that I just brought down to Florida for the month of January. This sweater is not hot, yet just a nice comfortable weight. It is the perfect length for me. I brought way too many clothes for my month of a chilly January in Florida, But this I wore repeatedly. It is the powder blue which was perfect with white pants, blue jeans, or just about anything this past month!
It is the perfect length for me to just cover that meeting point of the upper thigh and rear end, (which I feel is most flattering at my age, weight and stage, when wearing the ever-popular wardrobe staple for me which is white jeans, or given the naturally clingy nature of an Eileen Fisher crêpe pant at that area of my body) and yet it doesn’t cling across the rear end; it just flows and drapes down in a perfect fashion.
I appreciate that you offered it in petite, although it took some trial and error to get the right size. For me it was perfection in a medium petite!
I wish you had more stock in this, as I would buy it in the other color you offered, and I would love to buy more of these in more colors!
For reference, I am 5’ 1” and 160 pounds, with narrow shoulders and a wide bottom and hips. I wear a variety of Eileen Fisher sizes depending on the hem lengths and the generosity of the bust (because I have DDD bust, but am short with narrow shoulders — am a pear shape)) but this sweater was absolute perfection. Because it is a fine weave and a soft fabric with drape, stretch and lovely finish, I think it would work on many types of figures. It can be layered or worn alone. The v-neck is the perfect place — not too low or too high.
This peruvian cotton sweater was offered in 3 lengths. This is the “longer”. The “basic length” (like most EF “basic length” tops during this past 5 years, or so, of EF’s designs) cuts at an unattractive place across my middle — and the version they call “short length” is ridiculously short, (even on short “ me) (as the reviews of that length reflect) .
Also, most super-long tunic-length EF tops (sometimes the featured item on your home-page and emails) look absurd on me, and are probably most suited to super-tall, very straight model-type ladies)
But this length is ideal for me.
I note that this is fully “sold out” in both colors in most sizes, regular and petite — so I sure do hope you will make more, including the petite size . It looks like there are loads of positive reviews on this length of the sweater and not so much on the shorter length!

I wish you would make more! This is a wonderfully flattering sweater! It doesn’t cling, or bulk, or bunch. It isn’t too hot! It layers beautifully! It is very flattering. :-)
If it were available in darker colors, I would wear it with jeans and eileen Fisher crêpe pants up north in winter too. I don’t know if other ladies about 60 years old would agree with me, but I imagine they would, that at our stage really hot sweaters can be very uncomfortable when you have to wear a coat on top and then you’re sweating, or if you have a hot flash at a restaurant :-), this is just the perfect weight!
