Lovely, Substantial Linen Pants
These pants are so lovely and comfortable in fact that last summer I wore them to an appointment for an MRI. As the technician was positioning me on the examining table, she remarked, "These are really nice pants! May I ask where you got them?" It was a delight to share the details of my pants purchase story with her (especially because they were on sale) and make a new EF customer. Took my mind off the MRI completely. Now they're my lucky pants. And bronze is gorgeous!

Would have loved this color
I would have loved to have this color (bronze) in cropped delave wide linen pants of two or three years ago - cropped meaning shorter (it's summer) - and wider without zipper. Thanks.

Sizing much different than in past
I am returning these, as these are cut much narrower in the hips than past versions. If you have an hourglass figure beware. I bought on basis of another review and realize the review was actually of another oair with cuffs. If the small usually fits you you will find the pockets do not fit properly. But if you have a more boyish figure lucky you as they are otherwise great and now people won’t find them impossibly big. Just not for me.

Perfect linen pants
These are lovely linen pants. They are not too heavy nor too light. The length is wonderful for tall gals. I am 5 feet 10 inches tall and they come to my ankle. I have travelled with these pants in another colour to a very hot climate and they were perfect as they are loose. It is also great to have pockets in pants. I highly recommend them.

My new favorite pants
Usually wide leg pants n my large size are way too voluminous (and lantern pants look like clown pants). These are not too much, they are just right. Length is also good for me at 5’7”. I have them in Aegean and Grove and will probably wear them to death this summer.

I'm Going to Marry These Pants
Is it wrong to feel devotion to a pair of pants? The nicest pants I've ever owned! So many great details on such a simple item. I never knew setting pockets slightly differently could make such a huge difference to the silhouette. And the linen was so soft and cool! We're getting into our hot weather months here, and the pants caught every little wind and I could feel them swish like fans. I got a sight of myself in a window during a breeze and I looked and felt so elegant--but like I just look that way without trying too hard. Buying in other colors soon.

Style with comfort!
Love the wide straight legs and pockets! perfect fit especially at waist and length. The dark green goes well with several of my lighter colored tops. Wrinkles as expected with linen. Thin straight body, 5’7”, size xs.

Excellent cut for a curvy body
I am 5'7" hourglass and wear an XL in EF. These pants fit really well, they hang well and the bottom cuffs create a polished look. I bought the white, and plan to get another color.

Love these
I’m 5’1” on a good day, and the PS fit beautifully. The wide leg/amount of fabric is not overwhelming and the drape is just beautiful. I’m sure you can find a similar pair somewhere for a lot less, but the fit here is really nice. My only (ongoing) complaint is the wildly inconsistent sizing from piece to piece that EF seems to struggle with—sometimes a PS, other times a PM, I ordered both and the PM was crazy big. The return process is easy, but still would be nice to not have to order two of the same piece. Tang over, the pants are gorgeous.

These are great linen pants for anyone who doesn't know linen very well. The pluses: the length is great for petites, they drape well, and they have pockes that lie flat. They look nice. The cons: I got the white and they are see through because the material is thin and not good quality linen. Good quality linen is thicker, so when they wrinkle they look chic. These will wrinkle and just look like they need to be ironed. I could find similar linen pants at target or the gap for less than 1/4 the price. I kept them, becasue overall I do like the way they look, but I'm not happy with myself for spending so much money on a brand that is cutting corners with their material to make a better profit.

OMG! Gorgeous pant
I just received these trousers in the bronze color.they fit beautifully falling nicely on the hips and waist without extra fabric. They have the front zipper and button, with small elastic on the back to provide a great fit. The legs is full and falls beautifully because the linen is light weight there is movement when you walk. I’m 5’5” and these will need to be shortened and inch or more to sit anbove a shoe or sandal, and several inches to be at the ankle length. The bronze will go great with anything black,or white and with the many pieces of nocturne that I have acculuted over the past year. The pant does not have belt loops, but you could easily add a 1 inch wide belt and it would definitely work. I just went back to see if they had this pant in a tan color, but not showing as yet. Don’t know how they will look after sitting for any period, but they are linen so you have to expect that right?

Poor fit
I love that this style is available in plus size. The fabric has a beautiful hand feel and the color is rich. However the plus size fit is terrible, the side seam has been pushed to the back leg probably for a better fabric yield. The side seam is needed to keep the shape for a plus size.

Winner, winner!
I love these pants! I'm crazy about linen, and was fortunate to find a tank top the same color, AND I also have an oatmeal linen tunic top (buttons in front - I wear it open to show off the tank). I use coordinating orange, brown and black jewelry and literally top off the outfit with a dark, dark brown wide-brimmed straw hat! Fun and classy looking! It's fun to put things I have with something new to create a whole new look!!

Size not the same
I liked the pants but they were way too large. I had to return them. EF seems to have changed their sizing. I've worn a size large for many years, but now the size is larger even though my old size large pants still fit me.

Espresso linen pants
I like the color espresso for these great fitting pants. I am 122 lbs 5’4” and purchased PS. They are a little long on me definitely not cropped but I can pull them on without unbuttoning them and they have pockets

Not quite right

Love but wore down very quickly
I LOVED these pants. The fit is great, the material is amazing. Unfortunately, after 6-7 wears, they are wearing down and have almost ripped in the area between the legs. I bought a large size to make sure there was no rubbing.. but unfortunately this still happened.

Light and airy love these linen pants
I am very happy with these pants. They are lighter weight than all of my other linen pants, but that's OK for warm days. I am 4' 11" so I needed to have them hemmed, but I usually need to have my pants hammed.

Great linen pants
These are very nice lightweight linen pants. They wash beautifully and come out of the dryer on a gentle cycle and barely dry ( the way Eileen Fisher treats her linen), just the way linen should be - soft to the touch and not crisp. Happily there was no pulling on the seams so the right thread was used. I am tall with a 33 inch inseam and these pants hit right at my ankle so perfect for tall gals. Also a bit narrower in the hip with wide legs which is also good good for tall slim people. I do feel the seams at the front and back of leg so that will take a bit of getting used to. The linen pants in white are quite beachy looking, whereas the other colours can be dressed up.
