Not super special, get it on sale
This is not a great jacket in the petite sizes. The armscye is too low, so arm movement is restricted, meaning I can't raise my arms out in front up to shoulder height or higher without feeling pull at at the shoulder/bicep. This is a common tailoring issue; The sleeve is roomy enough. The jacket is not special enough to try to reduce the sleeve cap to see if that would solve the problem. I wore the jacket over a tshirt for a little while to decide whether the arm restriction bothered me enough to return it, and I decided at the sale price and for my purpose (summer suit separates for the office), I can live with it. I can also wear the jacket with more casual pieces on a summer evening. I was able to get the matching pleated pants on sale and also needed to size down. The petite PM fit was sloppy in both the jacket and matching pants, so I tried a PS, and both look much better I'm 5'2", 135 lbs, pear shaped and generally wear a PM in the EF lantern fit and trouser fit pants. The style photos show these as very loose and baggy fit, which I think works better on a taller body and didn't do much for my short frame. Since this definitely runs large, the small looks more polished. And yes, these wrinkle, but not as badly as kerchief linen!

Absolutely love it. To dress up or down. Have wash it and look like new after the wash.
Bought it in natural and black. Usually XS or S, XS was roomy enough for me.
At 5´5´´ the length is very flattering. Great for travelling too.

Lovely! Excellent for transitioning seasons.
Nice balance of ease and structure. Very flattering . I wore with the black silk tiered dress, chunky necklace and boots to the ballet. Dressy yet comfortable outfit for autumn. Well made like all EF pieces.

Great fit and looks classy
I got the undyed natural color, looks exactly as the photos portray. It is a beautiful neutral. I got my usual EF size small and it fits me great. I am 5'10 and the arms and body length are perfect. I also got the matching lantern pants and shorts, excited to wear them together! Oh PS I did not think the linen felt thin and flimsy like other reviews stated. It feels as expected- a lightweight linen blazer.

One of my worst EF purchases!
This is probably the worst item I have purchased from Eileen Fisher. I would describe the fabric as listless. It doesn't hang nicely off the body. So sorry I didn't wait to try it until it was on a good markdown instead of saying full price. It is making me vary cautious of my EF purchases since the newer fabrications are not up to my standard.

Nice, but...
I purchased this jacket in the bronze color, which is absolutely gorgeous. The jacket has nice lines and a great length - looks good. However, the linen is very thin and doesn't appear to be the best quality. I'm a big fan of the heftier weight Delave line. This jacket is a much lighter weight linen - it would be great for a tunic or button-down, but seems to be little "lacking" for a jacket. However, that's just a personal preference. Ultimately, for me, I didn't think it was worth even the sale price, so I ended up returning. For sizing reference, I'm 5'5"/90# and purchased XXS. It was roomy, especially around the shoulder area, but would have been OK had I decided to keep the piece.

Fabulous summer staple
I have had this a while and can attest to how versatile it is. I bought the natural color but not any coordinating pants. It looks great with so many things— black pants and cream silk tee, jeans and navy cotton tee, sneakers, sandals, dress shoes. The fit is great.

I bought the black version of this a few weeks ago. I was shocked at the poor quality and flimsy construction. That would be what I would expect from a very inexpensive brand…not Eileen Fisher. Very disappointing.

Fabulous color!
I bought this a month ago in Bronze with matching pants. This Blazer is perfect!!
Covers well & looks amazing with pushed up sleeves and worn with jeans. Color of the blazer matches the stitching on my jeans. I love love love it. Very polished with matching color pant or my black linen pants too. Tnx EF, this jacket rocks!

Gorgeous and Versatile Linen Look
This is a classic, versatile blazer in lovely linen. Coordinates beautifully with black dress or white pants and even jeans for a casual look. Unfortunately the MP did not work with my broad shoulders and the Medium was too long for my petite frame. This is my favorite blazer even though the sizing did not work for me. It is the first Elaine Fisher item that did not work for me, but go for it!

Perfect Staple Piece for the Summer
I'd been looking for a black linen blazer to round out my summer work wardrobe, and this one is perfect. Although loose fitting, it doesn't look boxy or too big because the shoulders are fitted and it gradually becomes more A line in fit. I can pair it with pants or a dress, and the fabric is so airy that I'm comfortable even on the hottest days. Speaking of the fabric, it's a really beautiful quality.
