Sangria: a wonderful magenta color for pants!
I purchased this linen lantern pant in the wonderful Sangria color. When I selected that color for pants, I wasn't sure if it was a color that I would actually wear. But, when the pants arrived, the color was more muted and refined than it appeared on my laptop display. I loved the color. I've worn the pants a lot and the magenta color looks great with so many of the Eileen Fisher clothes in my collection. I've worn the pants with a magenta linen top and black linen vest, a red silk shirt, a black linen shirt, a red linen shirt & black linen vest, with a Sangria color silk scarf, and with various Eileen Fisher linen and cotton long loose "coats" and casual jackets. The Sangria color is much more versatile than I expected!
I chose size medium in this style because I recently lost a lot of weight and many Eileen Fisher pants in size Large no longer fit me. Although the size medium in the EF size chart seems to be the correct size, the size medium waist is just a bit loose on me, but doesn't slide off my hips.
I wear the pants with long tops that cover the waistband, so it's OK if the pants are a little loose.
I really love these linen pants in the Sangria color, however they are a bit difficult to iron. At some point while ironing linen clothes, I just give up and stop worrying because the fabric will soon be softened with lots of creases and wrinkles and assume a beautiful soft wrinkly linen character!

Love the fit of this pant…loose and bohemian smaller at the ankle, great under tunics or longer dresses. The size L fits perfect…I have several colours of this great summer weight pant!

Love the pants
I love these pants, especially the bronzy/brown color and I’d love to see more clothing in that hue. That said, the color fades quite a bit if you’re not careful and I now hand wash these in a detergent that doesn’t require rinsing.
