Beautiful bit cut too big.
Beautiful color and linen but way too big! I have many Eileen Fisher dresses and tops- all in medium.
This medium dress has too much fabric on the sides, not flattering. I will return and hope they will redesign in the future.

Great summer dress
Just received it. I have a similar EF dress which is about 10+ years old in red and decided to get something similar in a different color. Love the color ( I got teal) and think it will be a "go to" dress for summer heat when I need something other than gardening clothes!!!

Great dress!
Teal color is gorgeous and it fits me perfectly in a large. Typically I'm a size 12 in a dress. Lately a lot of EF stuff had gotten small in the chest (I'm a 36 DD with bigger shoulders), but this is true to size and very flattering the way it drapes. Also like the V neck which is better with my bust and shoulders. I haven't washed it yet so can't comment on that, but I do recommend it!

Beautiful but a little tight through the middle
I wanted this dress so bad. I love the color and the loose fit. On me it was a bit too tight through my middle. I wanted tent look like the photo. The fabric is lovely.

Organic Linen Dress
I loved the dress, but I was disappointed that there wasn't an option to purchase a cardigan style sweater in the same color as the dress. As an older woman, I prefer to wear sweaters to cover my arms. It looks good on the young models you use to advertise your products, but you need to use older models as well. I mentioned this several times to the in-store sales associates & they said that they try to give headquarters the customer feedback, but that main office doesn't listen. As a customer, you should listen!!! My sister & I both returned the dress to the store.

So disappointing
The black linen is lightweight, see through, stiff, and seriously oversized. It’s nothing like a similar version from several years ago that swung nicely when I walked.

A Summer Beauty
I bought the petunia color in a small and it is fabulous; a rich inviting color that goes beautfiully with my grey hair. I also loved the way the dress moved and the way it made me feel and it has pockets! Going to wear this a great deal for years to come! Very happy!

lovely in it's simplicity
This dress is great for warm weather. It's easy to dress up or down and the weight of the fabric is exactly right. With a cute sandal and jewelry, it is perfection. Occasionally EF sizes are unpredictable lately, but I purchased my usual small and it fit perfectly.

Holy Grail dress
Ladies, this is a perfect summer dress. Just throw-on-and-go, and it can be dressed up or down. The colors are absolutely gorgeous (I got purple and red). The linen material is the perfect weight, with a deep hem that really helps the sway/structure of the dress. And it has pockets! I'm typically size XS in EF dresses, and this was true to size.

Easy style
I love this dress for its ease, style and color. I ordered it and then we got another cold spell so I have only worn it around the house. I think it will be wonderful as a cool remedy for hot weather style. I'm looking forward to styling it with scarf and necklace and some simple sandals. The purple color is striking and the fabric a good quality linen. I ordered a small for my size 8 frame and it fits perfectly.

Nowhere in the description does it say this dress has side-seam pockets. Grrr. I hate pockets! They add bulk right around my midsection, where I'm already the heaviest. I should have read all the reviews, looking esp for curvy women with apple shapes. On me, this dress yields too much cleavage, the pockets looked lumpy (and I would have removed them), and the exaggerated A-line shape was not flattering on me. Also, if you're tall and thinking you might want to let out the hem, it's a band of fabric, not a hem. The only thing I loved the was color Grenadine, which is the same as last year's Watermelon. It's really pretty. Returned.

Love it But Sized Down...Arm Hole Too Big
This is a good dress: the fabric is substantial (not flimsy or see-through), its generous cut drapes well. The arm hole, however, is too big (I am 5'7", weigh 126, and am not busty). I exchanged the Small for an Extra Small. After laundering, the arm hole fit was better.

Perfect Dress
Gorgeous Dress. I purchased in black size L. It flows beautifully and can be dressed up or down. I dressed down with some black sandals and it was perfect for a dinner out or a lunch. The quality is excellent.

I tried this dress on in Medium and realized that EF dresses are often too long for me and also tight around the bust in a Medium. So I decided to try this dress in a Petite Large. The fit is perfect.

Beautiful dress!
I got this in the stunning petunia color and it knocks it out of the ballpark! The fit is loose and comfortable, the vee neck is a perfect measurement on the chest and it has pockets. I love, love, love pockets. It moves with me when I walk and turn around; giving me a graceful look. I also got the linen long sleeved blouse in petunia to go over it. Both can be worn together or seperately. I'm 5'7" 210 lbs., and got a 2X. I probably could have gotten a 1X but went with the 2X and I'm satisfied. I have silver hair so the petunia color sets if off perfectly. Get this dress; you won't be disappointed.

This is a beautiful Eileen Fisher dress in Petunia (a purple color) and capture the feeling of what it is: an EASY dress! I plan on wearing this and other organic linen dresses which I have purchased in the past from Eileen Fisher in the Summer when it is warm.

A stunning dress for some ...
I wish this dress had looked nice on me! The quality of the linen is superb, the drape lovely, and the purple/lilac (petunia) color is very pretty. Unfortunately, the fit was not flattering on my 5'5', 145 pound curvy frame. It looked like a pretty tent. I gave it 4 starts because it will look great on the right person!

Sized way down.
I find petite fits me better in these very long dresses, so I ordered PS, but it was still too voluminous. I then tried PXS and it's just right. The purpleish color is quite lovely.
