This is low key gorgeousness. A statement piece that doesn't shout. It drapes really well and feels a bit like wearing a shawl--that doesn't fall off.

Just Wow!
Very high quality knitting. Could be wear any season. Could be dressed-up over a satin midi dress, or dressed down with jeans and a flowing cami. It will be my new favorite piece of clothing.

Beautiful Flow
This is such a gorgeous piece that I have also bought both colours. The cardigan looks great with so many EF pieces from this year’s collection as well as previous years. It is a generous piece. I usually wear an extra large and I bought the S/M in the natural colour and the L/XL in the black for a different and completely oversized look. Depending on your style, you may want to size down, or the look you want to create. I love an oversized look at times, depending on my mood.

Unusual...captivating!
This "cardigan" is so unusual. When it arrived, I tried in on immediately over what I was wearing at the moment: an Eileen Fisher cotton poplin shirt in "Flame" color, and black denim jeans. The addition of this lacy linen wrap (in black color) with what I was wearing was dramatic and out-of-the-ordinary, making the already high contrast of black jeans and red shirt even more fun with the flame red shirt showing through the squares of the lacy knit cardigan. I knew immediately that this textural cardigan was a keeper!
My measurements would indicate that I could wear a size L in Eileen Fisher clothes, but I often choose size XL in shirts, sweaters, and jackets, because I really like a looser fit.
For reference: 38DD, hips about 43", 5'6" height, and long thin arms and legs.
For this cardigan, I chose size 1X/2X in black. I like the loose over-sized drape and the cardigan looks great wrapped around me in the larger size. Part of what led me to choose a larger size was the photo on your website showing a model dressed in all black and the black cardigan was hanging loosely and casually over her shoulders...it looked like she was wearing a larger size cardigan and I liked that look and the generous drape of the lacy knit.
The black organic linen "délavé" yarn has a slight sheen and a subtle range of black and dark grey colors (almost a silvery glint), and the texture of the fabric feels much softer than the very crisp linen in the long black Eileen Fisher caftan that I purchased earlier this summer.
Even though this cardigan has a lacy open knit, it seems to provide just a bit of warmth, which is perhaps surprising.
I love this unusual cardigan -- it will look great with so many clothes in my (much too full) closet!
(Note: I found a very minor loose thread on the cardigan, and I repaired it immediately with a needle and black thread...snags will be easy to repair on this black lacy cardigan - the lacy knit isn't tight, so it might get additional snags or pulls.)

Outstanding!!
I'm thrilled with this piece. I usually buy large but sized down to s/m which was a good choice. It's roomy and flows beautifully. I am tempted to buy the natural colour too.

I initially purchased the Natural color, and loved it so much, I went back for the Black one, and am very glad I got both. I usually wear a 2X in Eileen Fisher, so I ordered the 1X/2X size, and it is perfect. It is supposed to run large, and be flowy, so this size was perfect for me. I also used one of Eileen's sweater pins as a closure, and it works fabulously! You can wear anything under this, and it looks great. If there were more colors, I'd buy them all!!

The Perfect Third Piece
I purchased both colors of thus beautiful sweater. The fit of this particular piece is very generous. My usual size in Eileen Fisher clothing is a large and I sized down to S/M in this sweater. Sweater drapes well. I have worn it with several different Eileen Fisher silk blouses and tanks. I particularly like it worn over the silk long sleeve button down blouse and mandarin collar blouse purchased several years ago. Happy I purchased both colors. I was also happy that I was able to try on different sizes in the store to get the perfect fit . A great sweater!

very disappointing
I flipped when I saw this--it looks so elegant on the model and I thought it might be very versatile, and also light enough to be a layer I could actually wear in the heat. But sadly on me it is a shapeless blob. The natural color is gorgeous but the sleeves seem to be a strange length. They might look better shorter or longer. I knew to go for a small (even though I'm hardly "small"-- 5'7, 160 lbs) but it just seemed . . . supersized. It looks like one of those pieces a woman wears when she's trying to hide her body.
