lantern pants
The cotton pucker lantern pants seemed like a good idea for summer as the fabric is lighter than denim. But, unlike other lantern pants I own, they balloon out from the waist to the lantern part at the ankle. I felt like I was wearing clown pants, so they went back. Wish the sizing and styling of EF clothes would be more consistent.

Please more lantern trousers in nocturne
I was so pleased to find these light weight trouser that was both dressy and casual. I would have given these a five star rating except for the fact that they do crease and they are expensive for a casual pant, especially with the exchange rate and we have to pay shipping to Canada. I favour the lantern cut as it is flattering to my figure. I also like that you can wear them with sandals and trainers, which is great for travel. I bought them in black and nocturne.

Good for tall ladies
I went in store to try these on in the Nocturne color and love how they fit! I'm finding lately that I'm happy with an XS with the stretch crepe fabric, but prefer a S for cottons, linens, etc. I tried them in a small and am very happy with the fit, they were flattering and I love how they taper down towards my ankle. My inseam is 33 inches and the pants fit like they do on the model. For reference, the widest part of my waist measures at 29.5 inches an my hips/bum are 40 inches at the widest.

Very scratchy fabric, even after washing. Tried wearing a pair on the plane, thinking that as they were lightweight they would be comfy, but they were uncomfortably scratchy.

My favorite summer work pants!
Lantern pants are the best cut pants for my body-type (straight figure, narrow hips, carry weight more in my waist). Please don’t stop making them! I love this fabric for summer. It’s very light and airy but professional and doesn’t require ironing like linen. I love that it’s machine washable too! I washed and hung to dry and they came out beautifully. I am 5’4”, 140lbs and the XS fits perfectly.

These pants are everything you want in summer pants.
They don’t stick even when it’s humid, stay cool even in dark colors and are flattering. I have a tummy, which is minimized from front and side views. Will travel well as they hardly show any wrinkles after a day in cars and plane. They are easily washed and hung to dry. 5+++ stars❗️

Love these!
Absolutely love these pants! Purchased two colors and they'll be perfect for our hot summers and for traveling. The fabric is wonderful; light yet substantial, so comfortable to wear and doesn't wrinkle like linen or regular cotton. I wish they'd make more things in this fabric. My only negative is really with the company (not these pants!) and it not being able to get the sizing issues straight. I had to order 3 pairs to get a true small size & that should not happen with such a reputable company as EF!

Not for this Petite - But Nice Pants
Really attractive, good fabric. But too oversized. I love clothes with ease, but after sitting and standing, they were not flattering. Nocturne is beautiful color.

Cute pants, watch sizing
I love these pants.I ordered the xs in both black and seaweed. They are cute, fun , and very wearable. The seaweed was smaller than the black pair so I had to return them. I would love to order another pair but probably won’t since because of sizing issues and returning them took 10 days or so and no word from Eileen Fisher. Finally called them on July 3 and spoke to someone who started the return process. I shipped the smaller pair back on June 23rd., and fortunately had the receipt with a tracking number. This shipping error could be postal service related but wouldn’t want the wait time again. Too much hassle.

I got these in Seaweed & Black, size XXS. The Black ran significantly smaller than the Seaweed so I returned them. I may reorder in XS. Nice crisp fabric, nicely made, a tailored slightly over-sized look.

Lovely light fabric for summer and beyond!
Beautifully fashioned light weight for summer wear. Great colors to be worn with white, black or khaki all the way through to and into fall. Consider the size as the garments I purchased were ample and could have gone with a smaller size. But, I am satisfied with my choice!

My favorite pants
I was so happy when Eileen Fisher brought these pants back for a second year. I immediately bought a second pair in each of the three available colors. I wear these pants both summer and winter and would love to see them produced in more colors--and with coordinating longer jackets.
