So comfortable I could wear them all day...
Love em! Purchased navy blue, perfect fit, perfect weight for summer. I love the design of the lantern pants!

Poor fit
I waited a long time for these to restock and purchased a pair as soon as they became available. Unfortunately, the fit was really off—loose and bulky in the front, with tiny pockets that still managed to stick out awkwardly at the sides. It just didn’t look right. I returned them.

Alterations on Lantern Pant
Has anyone had success in having lantern pants altered so that they become more of a straight-loose style pant? These lantern pants are too baggy for my taste. I purchased the ink jacket in this fabric and would like to have a matching pant; otherwise, I would not bother. Thanks.

Wonderful fabric
I love this fabric. I’m 5’2” 130 lbs, curvy shape so generally a small on top, medium on the bottom. I struggle with EF sizing because the PS fits me better but the waist is uncomfortably tight; there is a full inch gap between PS and PM waist size, so this is not a “me” problem. PM is a little too big for me, but is more comfortable around my waist than the PS. I chose PM in these pants for this reason. They fit fairly when I put them on, but by the end of the day they border on looking a little sloppy, like parachute pants. The pucker weave elevates these pants over the simple poplin and is a nice alternative to linen. They are light as air on a hot day and make a perfect office-ready summer suit when paired with the jacket. I got the navy and the chalk pants and the navy jacket. I wear them with the band-collar tops, the notch collar tops, and the linen Ts. I give them 4 stars because of the ridiculous sizing issue in petites. Just increase the waist by 1”, please, so there is no sizing gap. I will be drying them on low to shrink the fabric just enough for a better fit — this is a problem across all petite pant styles, not just the pucker fabric. I really love EF for shapes that are easy to wear, not fussy, mix n match, and look pulled together while, quite honestly, feeling like pajamas. I’ll never go back to traditional corporate wear.

I bought my usual size of M Petite and they were enormous in the rise, hips, thighs and length. Returning.

Buyer beware---cut small
I ordered these pants off the website without having tried them on. In my defense, I own two pairs of the ponte knit lantern pants (both size XL) and a pair of linen trousers (also size XL) and often toggle between size L and XL. All the pants were purchased within the last 12 months. I just received these pants today, presumably to wear to my class reunion. The legs fit fine. The waist and trunk part barely make it over my butt. The waist is tight, It's a good thing that I'll be wearing long tunics over the pants. If I had time, I would return them. Sorely disappointed. Checked twice but the tag says XL

Nice Pant ABit Snug
Purchased for summer. These pants are a bit snug on me and they are my usual size medium. They are snug in the abdomen and hip area. I decided to keep them anyway and wear with a nice summer sweater. Good color of a light gray.

Comfy pants, nice fabric
These pants are super comfy and relaxed. I like the slight horseshoe shape of the leg.
