Poplin next to linen is my favorite summer fabric
I love the organic cotton poplin pants. I own them in three colors-chestnut, navy and white. The fit is TTS. I like the weight perfect for summer. I wear them sometimes with a blouse and other times layered under a dress.

Pleasant surprise
I’ve never purchased a pair of white pants. I always wear part of a meal and will inevitably sit in something that stains. Nevertheless, I’ve owned white tops of EFs and anything comes out with little to no effort. The pockets, the fit is perfect. The fabric is not what I usually get either, as the knit or denim pants are more my comfort zone- but it’s wonderful, a smidge heavier than handkerchief.

A perfect fabric for summer
The best feature of these pants is the lightweight fabric, perfect for hot summer days. I'm pleased the chestnut color was available in petite sizes, a welcome change from black and gray. I wish the waist were a little higher, to sit at the natural waist. I think they run slightly small; I had to go up one size.

Petite and Standard fit - a world of difference
I bought a standard size large in the Bramble color. I like the color and the fabric was perfect for running errands. But the standard size large looked sloppy with the length not quite cropped but not quite ankle length. I felt squat and dumpy. They are amazingly comfy though, so I didn't return them. I decided to try the White in petite large, and they are so much better and fit really well. They are hit me where cropped pants should and the waist and back are faltering. So this pant design had a different fit than the other copped EF pants that I have. Love the Petite version, so four stars.

Lightweight, Comfortable Pant! Petite Sizing A++
I just received these pants yesterday, and have already washed and hung them up to dry. Wearing them on this hot summer day is wonderful! They are so crisp and professional looking, but still relaxed enough for summer comfort! The Chestnut color is really nice :) I ordered a petite size because I'm 5'1" and have shorter legs compared to my torso, and I'm SO SURPRISED that I don't feel swallowed up by them. I usually do with wide pants -- this is first pair I don't have to return!
As well, as an American, it warmed my little patriotic heart to see the bag say "Made in USA" <3 Nothing wrong with importing, but I love supporting my local, in US businesses. Thank you Eileen Fisher!

My go-to cropped pant in summer
I bought both chestnut and white color ones. One star off because the white color is too see through and had to return it. Chestnut color is perfect and my go-to pant in spring/summer time. Very easy to go with different color tops.

Light and comfortable!
These pants are super light and comfortable. They are thin, so definitely for warmer weather although if you wear knee-height socks, you might be able to wear them into early fall. Once washed I have been line drying them and ironing. I purchased both the ink and brown, and I love the brown more. Ink does attract and show lint much more than the brown.

Love them
I love these pants so much, I bought them in four colors. I wear them with a jacket, with a t-shirt, with nice shoes and with sandals. They can definitely be dressed up or down and are so comfortable. I love them-they seem to run true to size, at least for me.

Not for me
I have several of EF’s wide-leg cropped pants (which look like skirts), but this one didn’t work for me. I found the material to be both stiff, flaring out oddly at the bottom, and easily wrinkled. Also, as I am long-waisted, the short-waisted cut didn’t work for me. Sadly, it was a return.

There’s a reason that the marketing photos don’t show the top of these pants, or anything tucked into them. I want to say that my favorite pair of pants in the world is Eileen fisher, so I really do love her products. But these pants are a complete miss. They have an elastic waist and a shorter rise and a very stiff but light poplin fabric so when you put them on they look like nothing so much as children’s play pants. They fit very awkwardly if you have any kind of belly at all, and I even sized up in them. They are just terrible, I am returning them immediately and I cannot wait to get them out of my house.

Love these pants!
I bought the Zinc in XS and I have fallen in love with them. They are so easy to wear. I have worn them with a Rundholz black tank for an edgy day look and an EF cotton sweater for a casual early Spring evening out. I do wear these pants lower toward my hips which puts the length longer. They are a roomy fit. I am guessing these will become a Spring and Summer go to. The fabric is a great weight as well. Thanks EF!

These are really modern looking soft poplin pants that I can’t wait to wear in the spring. I got the Chestnut color and it is beautiful, richer than many khaki poplins I’ve seen. I wear a lot of black and this color will complement it crisply.

alternative silhouette to shorts or chinos
Preferable to chinos or shorts as a look. I chose the chestnut color. The fabric feels crisp with stretch. It's a 3-season fabric weight. The high Cotton content will make them cool in hot weather. Lightly washed, tumble-dried and hung damp, the fabric dries without wrinkles--but does not dry really smooth. Neatnicks might give them a light press. I will never bother ironing them as I plan to wear them casually. I ordered medium and small. Returned the small because I preferred the longer rise with my thicker waistline.

Nice summer pants, closer to ankle length on me
Nice fabric. They are a bit loose in the waist but otherwise fit me well. They go with a jacket I have already purchased. I am about 5'4" - instead of hitting me at mid-calf, these pants are about ankle length. But that's fine. They'll be nice in spring and summer.

Comfortable and flattering w pockets
They are really comfortable and flattering. There's a tiny bit of stretch which makes movement more comfortable. They don't wrinkle that much which is a huge bonus. Love the pockets.
