Exactly what I was looking for in a jacket.
First I should note that it does run large. I’m 5’6, 164 lbs and apple shaped, with a 40” bust. In fitted blazers,/jackets I usually wear a size 14. I ordered this in a 12 and it still turns out to be decidedly roomy. I could easily wear a thin to medium sweater under it. This isn’t a bad thing as I’m planning on wearing this jacket while traveling and it’s okay if it will allow for layering.
For the purposes of packing a “capsule travel wardrobe” this jacket is perfect. The color looks great with jeans and black slacks, and unexpectedly chic with warm caramel pants as well. Because it is dark grey instead of black it also looks okay with navy too.
Two thumbs up for the versatile style as well. I can wear it zipped up to make a round collar or halfway zipped with the edges folded over to make narrow lapels. The weave seems pretty wrinkle free as well ( although I haven’t smooshed it into a suit case yet) and is a nice light-to-mid weight. Throw in shirts with a number of different collars, a scarf and three pairs of pants and this will be the basis for many many outfits.

Great Sweater Alternative

Not only a lovely jacket, the material has stretch I wasn’t aware of (yet seems contrary to the term ‘organic cotton’). So often an item seems to fit before I pull my shoulders and arms forward and, nope, too small, need the next size up. Not this one. It’s perfect!

The sleeves are too long and difficult to shorten

Jacket with a lot of potential
Fabric has substantial weight so it hangs well. No wrinkles! Might be too warm for spring/summer weather, but I think it will be become a staple in my wardrobe for cooler days. My regular size PL fits well.

Perfect, Elegant and Easy
Such a fabulous jacket and so easy and elegant. It should be part of the system really. I can't find one in black because they are all sold out but bought the seaweed and white. Please bring this elegant piece back. It's perfect. I can wear the XL or the 1X. I live in NYC and it tops a casual outfit and makes it look finished and polished. Love it.

Perfect Weight Summer Jacket
This is a pure white color, perfect for pants or dress on a cool evening/ runs boxy, as I am usually
a Large lately to get an Eileen jacket fit that zips without being tight, but the Medium is perfect for me, a size 12-14. Just skims the hips. I am 5'7" and and over 65, like "traditional/trendy"-- did I make that up?
