Not a fan of the fabric, but that's just me
This cardigan is almost perfect for me. My usual XS fit perfectly. loved the cropped length, the cut, and the fact that it's cotton. But I just didn't love the "eyelash" fabric. To me, it looked matted right out of the bag, not fluffy. I tried gently fluffing it in various ways, but the look just isn't for me. Really cute little piece if you like that fabric, though!

Nice option for a light sweater
Cute sweater but concerned that the edges will roll up over time. The material is nice and soft and the fit is good. It's a lighter sweater, which is what I wanted.

I love the coziness of this sweater! It is cotton but fuzzy so it feels warmer than a typical cotton sweater. I have only worn it once but I think it will be good for most of the year.

beautiful but not for me...
I bought the eyelash cardigan because I liked the texture of the knit, the short cropped design, and the black color. I have other Eileen Fisher short cardigans that I like, and thought this one would fit similarly. In the past, I have chosen size XL in a short cardigan, and it was too large. So, I chose the eyelash cardigan in size L. For reference, based on the Eileen Fisher size chart my measurements suggest a size Large. This cardigan, however, seemed a bit small for a size Large.
I wish I had ordered the larger size for a looser fit. I returned the sweater because I didn't like the fit. I thought it was a bit snug and the V neckline was too deep. I think this cardigan would look great over a cropped tank top, but I often wear long sleeved shirts and when I tried it on over a long sleeved shirt, the back of the long shirt, which hung out under the back of the sweater, looked a bit awkward...
I purchased the cardigan on sale and the sale ended, so I didn't reorder it in a larger size.
The eyelash knit texture is beautiful and unusual. If the cardigan had been longer and larger, I would have probably loved it and kept it.

Nice Cardigan
This is called an Eyelash Cardigan, but it not the "long feathery" eyelash I have known. It is much more subdued and wonderful and I loved it; however, the v-neck was so wide it felt like it was falling off my shoulders all the time. Annoying. I ordered a Medium and returned, but I loved this sweater so much I might try a Small when it goes on sale again.
