Disappointed ...
I really liked the photos of this jacket on models that I saw on the Eileen Fisher website. I really like corduroy and thought the jacket would provide textural contrast to smoother fabrics. Based on the photos, I thought this jacket would fit similar to other Eileen Fisher jackets that I have in my closet. But, it has a different design and fit that wasn't as loose as my other jackets and it didn't have a graceful drape like my other Eileen Fisher jackets. My body measurements suggest a size Large on the Eileen Fisher size chart, and because I like a looser fit, I ordered the jacket in size XL (for reference: about 5'6", 38DD, hips about 43"). I chose the black color (I like black clothes). Unfortunately, the fit of jacket didn't look good on me. It didn't resemble the fit of my other beloved Eileen Fisher cotton canvas and linen jackets and loose coats. This corduroy jacket sort of bunched up around the shoulder/sleeve area, it didn't have a graceful drape, the sleeves were too short, and the pockets were too high to hold my hands at a comfortable angle. The cuffs on the sleeves hit somewhere above my wrists and looked and felt awkward - the cuffs didn't sit straight against my arms, but tugged at a slight angle above my wrists (sleeves too short). Anyway, although the black corduroy fabric was beautiful and soft, the jacket didn't work out for me and I returned it the next day.

Corduroy Bliss
Lightweight, yet warm, in a super flattering boxy style that will work beautifully with layers. The big patch pockets complete the look, and will come in handy. LOVE this jacket! I'm 5'2", 126 lbs., and the purchased size S provides lots of room without looking sloppy.

Great Casual Jacket
This jacket is lightweight and very cute. My usual EF size fit well and hangs nicely. It appears durable so I plan on wearing it for many years. Am anxious for our very cold weather to warm up so I can actually wear it!

TERRIFIC JACKET! LOVE IT!
TAUPE is exactly as shown. A Great color. Runs large. Fabric is soft and good quality corduroy. Wonderful material. Love the pewter buttons, flap pockets, band around the bottom adds so much to the total look.
Normally wear a size large however jacket is boxy and oversized even with a blouse under it. Ordering a medium.

Organic black corduroy jacket
The x small sleeves are too short and the mid section is too wide. I’m usually an x small or small in Eileen fisher tops, jacket and sweaters. I’m 5’7 and weigh 130 athletic figure and I think I’ll be returning the jacket. Too bad because It’s a great looking jacket!

Very pretty
Beautiful color, lovely fabric. I was happy that I was able to button this! I wear a 22, and I like an oversized fit, so I always order a 3X in EF clothing. A 3X is supposed to be a 26-28. Oddly, this size is rarely large enough even for me. I was happy that I was able to button this jacket with a bit of room to spare. Taupe is so pretty.

I really love the jacket in black, although I’d love other colors! Brighter colors would be great. Goldenrod? Brick red? Forest Green? Navy? These would be wonderful!

Wide wale corduroy jacket
I purchased this jacket in size XXS in the color wren. I like the wide wale corduroy fabric and the up to date style of the jacket. It helped to know from other reviewers that it runs large, so I went down a size and the jacket fits well. I think the fabric is pretty high quality and I like the casual style. I’m glad a made this purchase and believe I will wear it a lot.

Warmth, texture, and pleasant color
This jacket is soft and warm, and its fit is generous enough for a sweater underneath. I love the pleasant neutral wren color, the pocket flaps, and the pleat between my shoulders. The strip around the bottom also adds shape. I do wish the sleeves were set at the top of my shoulders rather than dropped, but everything else is a real gain.

Casual Elegance!
This is one gorgeous jacket! The design, fabric and color (taupe) goes with everything. I sized up for more of a coat look, and it is exactly what I was hoping for, a little longer length but not too big...how do they do that?? :)

Soft corduroy, sort of like a jean jacket only a little more "dressed up". It definitely is a bit oversized so if you are between the sizes, you may want to order a size down.

Nice corduroy jacket
Just received this in wren in my usual size small. I like the slightly longer length and additional button at base. Sleeve length is fine, but the pleat in back at the yoke is unnecessary. Have many long sleeve tops to wear with this and earlier got the ponte carrot pants in wren. All set for fall weather.

I got this in my usual size S. It is very wide & boxy & an unflattering length on my 5'8" frame. The color "Wren" is a brown/taupe/loden neutral. The corduroy fabric is soft.
