Textural interest in a classic design
I love the texture of this sweater. The shape is classic, but the open weave gives a lot of interest. The sweater is quite warm with a long sleeved tee underneath, but I think it will work well in shoulder seasons with just a cami as an undergarment. The design is more snug than many Eileen Fisher sweaters and some may wish to size up for a looser fit.

Very soft sweater. It is not see-thru. Fits me well. Chalk is a versatile color. Can go with most anything.

Coarse fabric, scratchier than expected
I was expecting this sweater to be a lot softer (most of my merino items feel more like cashmere, or like a cotton t-shirt — this one definitely feels more like wool and I wouldn't want to lounge around in it). It's less polished/feminine than the product photo appears; it looks more like a "dad sweater" (bulky sleeves, tight crewneck). The color is also more of a faded black than a proper charcoal.
I'm 5'6" 120 lb and bought XS, could probably have sized down through the torso (though the sleeves on the XS felt just long enough), and my wider hips (36") made the band ride up a little.

Great transitional sweater.
I really like this sweater. Fit is perfect. The weave is delicate and you don’t necessarily need a cami under it although I usually do. Color is great for a monochromatic look but does well against a contrasting black or denim.

Versatile sweater
I purchased this sweater in charcoal. It's a beautiful color and will work with many other colors in my wardrobe. The wool is soft. Some reviewers said it's not see-through, but I'd disagree. It does work perfectly with a tank or cami underneath. It's equally useful for dressy or casual wear.

Unique, drapes beautifully, warm, comfy
I love the modern look and feel of this sweater. It's a keeper as it will age well, from a style and quality standpoint. I washed it in a big bowl and did not shrink or get destroyed in any way. I have also washed it in the delicate cycle in the washing machine and it also did not shrink or get destroyed. Regardless of the approach you take to wash it, it takes a very long time to dry - overnight even. I did put it in the dryer for 10 min in a delicate setting to get it to dry faster - I removed it after 10 min to ensure it did not shrink / get destroyed as it is 100% fine merino wool. I love it and proud to own it.

This is a lovely soft sweater that drapes beautifully. I found the sleeves to be a little shorter than expected, but am overall happy with my purchase.
