collar and elasticized cuffs, in a cotton nylon weave now made with recycled
nylon.

Beautiful color-sizing is off
The coat is a beautiful color and is long enough to be useful as a raincoat. My biggest complaint is about the size. My usual medium is huge. I wish that I would have sized down.
I wish Eileen Fisher could be more specific on sizing. Some other brands offer advice on particular items such as “runs large” or “if between sizes, size down.” The typical Eileen Fisher advice of “boxy” or “flows away from the body” really doesn’t help me with size selection.

Lovely Layer
Initially drawn to the color, but the timeless lines of this piece have proven to be a great look. The hidden hood gives the look of a stand collar so gives a nice boost to the quietly polished jacket.

Looks great, feels great, only it is not waterproof, what is the point of adding a hood if you cannot wear it when it rains? I am disappointed.

A nice jacket.
I was afraid it would be too big based on past experience w/ EF garments and looking at how it fit on various models. The size I hoped to order was sold out so I got the next larger and it fits well and is not as baggy as I feared.

Wardrobe staple
After purchasing a shorter cotton-nylon jacket a few months ago - style F4AKR-C2139 - I decided that I love it so much that a second coat in a different color would be a great addition to my wardrobe. This longer coat fits closer to the body, but there's plenty of room for a sweater underneath. Order your regular EF size. This one washed as nicely as the first, but this darker color requires no touch up with an iron. The sleeves are finished with elastic in a casing, and the coat features a 2-way zipper that makes driving so much easier. Don't hesitate: you'll love it and reach for it often!
